Measuring on boarding programmes

https://www.oxford-review.com/downloads/measuring-boarding-programmes/ On boarding is the process of inducting an employee into the organisation from pre-hire to orientation and business specific training to bring them up to speed with the social and performance aspects of their job. The aim of on boarding is to enhance: 1.Role clarity – Employees understand their role, the expectations associated with it, and how to perform in order to achieve expected results. 2.Self-efficacy – Employees feel confident in their ability to contribute. 3.Social integration – Employees feel connected, valued and trusted. 4.Knowledge of culture – This includes understanding and adjusting to company politics, language, goals, values and history. As with all business processes, measuring effectiveness is important, as it affects the bottom line through inefficiency and delays in getting the employee fully productive in the shortest possible time.
