Recreate Arbitration Mailboxes - Exchange 2016
To recreate the mailboxes we need to initially remove the User Accounts in Active Directory. These will usually be found in CN=Users Unless they have been moved. You will then need to run the following command from the correct installation media – Setup.exe /PrepareAD /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms – This command will re-create the Active Directory objects required to re-create the mailboxes. You will then need to re-enable the mailboxes using the below commands. Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “FederatedEmail.4c1f4d8b-8179-4148-93bf-00a95fa1e042” Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “SystemMailbox{1f05a927-8668-4003-adad-9b80758e86db}” Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “SystemMailbox{e0dc1c29-89c3-4034-b678-e6c29d823ed9}” Enable-Mailbox –Arbitration –Identity “SystemMailbox{bb558c35-97f1-4cb9-8ff7-d53741dc928c}”

Sync Email Without Having to Change Your Email Address using Gmail
In this video, I’ll show you how to sync your email on your phone, tablet, and computer using IMAP — even if you don’t want to change your email address. Please subscribe and leave comments below! **** A truncated transcript follows. A full transcript can be found at www.marblejar.net. **** Hi, everyone! This is Lara Hammock from the Marble Jar channel and in today’s video, I’ll show you how to sync your email on your phone, tablet, and computer — even if you don’t want to change your email address. Most people have their emails all synced up between devices since most providers offer IMAP mail service now. But some still only offer POP3 and that means that when you read and delete a message on your phone, you still have to go and do the same thing on your computer. And again if you have a third device like a tablet. It’s hard to keep up with it and you end up with out of control inboxes and no idea what has been dealt with and what hasn’t. In addition, if you save an email on one device, you can only retrieve if from that device. It’s annoying. The problem is that a lot of people have had their email address for 10+ years. It would be a big pain in the rear to have to change their email address with all of their contacts and vendors. So, here is a solution to for you to switch over to all of the benefits of IMAP email without having to change your email address. Okay — first let me do a quick explainer on IMAP vs. POP3. These are both email protocols, which is just a set of rules that the mail server uses. The main difference between IMAP and POP3 for our purposes is how they deliver mail from the server. POP3 receives your mail and then, depending how many devices are asking for it, will send it out and then delete it from its server. Now you have a copy on your devices, but the devices aren’t talking to each other and since there is no central storage, when you delete a message on one device, you have to repeat that process on all of your other devices. IMAP doesn’t deliver your mail so much as it mirrors an entire copy of your mailbox to each of your devices. This includes your inbox, but also includes all of your sent files, trash, and saved folders. Anytime you make a change in one place, like delete a message, it communicates back with the central server and then makes that change on all your devices. I suppose there *might* be a situation where POP3 is better, but if you have more than one device where you access your mail, you HAVE to use IMAP. Now, here is the problem. Not all providers offer IMAP —particularly regional service providers who don’t have the most up-to-date service. So, what if you have been using the same email address for 10 years, don’t want to change it, but are sick and tired of deleting emails from multiple devices? I have a solution for you. I set this up for my mom, my mother in law, and my sister in law, who all faced that annoying problem. Here it is in a nutshell — you are going to set up a new Gmail account (don’t worry, you don’t have to change your email address), have your current email provider forward everything to your Gmail address, and then change the settings in your phone and other devices to pull from the new gmail account. Okay — let’s walk through each step. 1 - Set up Gmail address First you will need to create a Gmail account with Google if you don’t already have one at mail.google.com. Choose “create an account” and then fill in all of this information. Even though you aren’t going to actively use this email address, try to pick a username you like. After all, you might decide to switch email addresses at some point and this would be a really easy transition. Make sure you record your new email address and your password somewhere. Forward all mail to this Gmail address Now — you need to log into your web account for your current email address. Almost every provider gives you a way to forward all mail to a new account. Because each provider has a different series of steps, I can’t walk you through your specific process. But I can walk through it using a Comcast or Xfinity mail account — it should be pretty similar for you. * Find the webmail address for your email service. If you don’t know if, you should be able to do a quick Google search with the name of your email provider and webmail * Log in using your credentials. * Navigate to email. * Look for email settings. In this case, it’s this gears symbol in the upper right hand corner. * Go to Auto Forward. Now enable it by checking the box and put your new Gmail address in the field for the email destination. You do not want to save a copy of forwarded emails unless you want a mailbox full of duplicates. * If you are having problems doing this, call customer service for your email provider and ask them to show you how to Auto Forward. . . **** Read a full transcript at www.marblejar.net. ****

This video is based on this paper by John Pfeffer: https://medium.com/john-pfeffer/an-institutional-investors-take-on-cryptoassets-690421158904 Watch, like, subscribe and tell us your opinion in the comments! Narration --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is Bitcoin worth? Disclaimer! Do not base any financial decision in your life on stuff I say in a YouTube video. Seriously! Do your own due diligence, be skeptical and take responsibility for your decisions. And read the paper that I based this video on yourself. Note that is also has a disclaimer. No, bitcoin is not backed by anything. So how can it be worth anything? Well, that’s what we want to find out. Are bitcoin and other cryptos like ethereum going to be worth anything in the long run? … assuming of course they are successful AT ALL! Any of them could totally fail and be worth nothing any day for a bunch of different reasons. Let’s start by categorizing crypto tokens into 2 categories: - Network backbone / Virtual Machine (for example Ethereum) (basically all the “blockchain” stuff) and - Money First let’s look at the first which we could call “utility protocols” Think of them kind of like distributed data centers. Instead of having a bunch of servers in a big warehouse somewhere like Amazon Web Services or Google’s version of that, you use the processing power, memory and bandwidth of a bunch of computers all across the world. Those computers are called miners and they have real world costs for hardware and electricity. And in exchange they get block rewards and/or transaction fees. So let’s look at that network as if it was an entire economy. The cost of the processing power, memory and bandwidth would be the GDP and the network token would be the money of this economy that is used to pay for those resources. So the value of those two things would be equal. M all the money equal P x Q, the price of a unit of each resource times the quantity of it … oh and don’t forget: … divided by V the velocity of money, a variable that tells us how frequently a token is used and reused on our network. So the value of one token is M/T. That is the value of all of the tokens divided by the number of tokens. Basically, in the long run, the total value of all the tokens won’t be more than the total cost of all of the resources on the network and each token will be worth the respective fraction of that. Why? Well, valid question! Say the tokens are trading for more than that amount that’s necessary to compensate the miners, the network will be used only for the highest value use cases until either the token price drops to the efficient amount, or someone makes an identical copy of it (a so called fork) where the token price is closer to that efficient amount. In all cases the token price ends up at that price that’s just enough to compensate the miners for their costs in the long run. And that number (M/T) could be decreasing Right now a lot of the resources on those networks are used for proof of work, but in the near future that can probably be replaced by leaner consensus mechanisms. And a bunch of other technologies (proof of stake, sharding, Segregated Witness, Lightning Network, Plasma, Raiden) are being developed to make the networks use less resources. Also the price of the real world hardware will probably continue to decrease, just like you can each year get a computer with more memory and CPU and perks for the same price. If those things happen P times Q will decrease. The tokens can be transacted really quickly online, that could mean that V could be really high. Smaller P times Q and a larger V would mean smaller M, which would make M/T smaller, which is our token value. Here are a couple more things that could influence the value in the long run: Decentralized networks may not have that many real world applications, because their consensus mechanisms have to be inefficient and redundant to at least some degree. Depending on how much that inefficiency and redundancy is, they might only be used for applications where decentralization, censorship-resistance and trustlessness are really an important feature. Decentralized networks may not have a network effect similar to something like Facebook. Why? Well, you can’t fork Facebook. A blockchain can be copied to a completely identical version with the same history and everything with whatever feature added that you’d like to make it totally seamless for the users to switch over. That would be as if the IT department of Facebook decided over night to run a Facebook 2 using the same servers with identical users ...
