My Best Marketing Strategies for [2018] | Creative Growth Plans for Business
Want to know my marketing strategy for 2018? ►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog 2018 is going to be an exciting year. The analysis on how much money we're spending to generate the traffic and here's what's crazy, most people don't realize this, we generate, let's say a million visitors a month on Neil Patel. Do you know what the cost to get there is with video, production, podcasting, blogging, promotion, ads, link building? $110,000 a month. That's what it averaged out to for 2017. Here are my marketing strategies for 2018. I just bought a blog in the marketing space for a half a million bucks. They get a million visitors a month, and it's cheaper to spend money acquiring people who already have the traffic. So in 2017, I bought Uber Suggest, I think it was around 140 grand. They had very little traffic. I 381 redirected the site, traffic increased and guess what happened? Nothing. I hoped that my traffic would go through the roof, but nothing happened. Uber Suggest was a good acquisition and what I ended up learning from that is, who cares about links? Don't buy anything for the links. Buy it purely based off of traffic and just pay a simple metric. If Uber Suggest has roughly 200,000 visitors per month, I paid a hundred and something; I would have paid 200 grand, the money didn't matter. For a blog that I just spent half a million on, their traffic ranges. On a horrible month, they'll get around 800,000 uniques. In a perfect month, they'll get around, like, 1.2, 1.3 million uniques, and all I'm doing right now is buying as many blogs as possible. My marketing strategy for 2018 is to buy blogs based on of traffic. I look at the top posts that they have and how qualified their visitors are and determine if I can successfully monetize their content. I don't even care if they have revenue. If they don't have revenue, even better. The problem with Search Engine Journal is that they have conferences, they have advertising, and they have contracts for all of it. I don't care for any of that. I just want the traffic. So when you buy all these people for traffic and then you put it into your monetization flow, you can quickly figure out, what is this worth? If I can't make my money back in less than 12 months, I will not buy it. The other marketing strategy that I use when I'm buying these sites is to look for blogs that aren't monetized well. The blog that I ended up buying for half a million bucks, they're not even making three grand a month. If you're not even making three grand a month, that's a good deal, right? They're like; you're going to give me half a million dollars for this? No problem. Another creative marketing strategy I'm doing right now, is trying to buy a really popular marketing tool. I don't want to pay them all the money they're asking for because they want well into the millions, and it isn't worth it. But, I'm trying to work out a deal where I give them X amount of money up front, let's say a million dollars, and then give them a hundred thousand a month over X amount of months or a hundred thousand a year over X amount of years. When I see inefficiencies in sites, I figure I can purchase them and double the revenue because they aren't optimized for traffic or conversions. So buy it for what it's worth, optimize it, and then use the profits to pay them out continually. That way you're not using all of your money and the business is paying, you may have spent a bit more money, but personally, you don't have to spend as much money, and that's my marketing strategy for 2018. My goal is to spend at least $5 million acquiring businesses purely based on their traffic. If you need help or have questions about online or digital marketing or of you're a small business looking for help, leave a comment or question below and I'll personally answer and help you in any way I can!

3 Simple Steps to Marketing Your Mobile App | Get More Exposure and Installs!
Launching a new mobile app? Here are 3 simple steps to marketing getting more downloads and installs. Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=neilvkpatel Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog/ Marketing a website's easy. You do some SEO, and you do some content marketing, maybe even some social media marketing, and boom, you're popular. But what happens if you have a mobile app? How do you market it? Well, first off, if you have a mobile app, great. You can start marketing it, and I'll show you how. But if you don't have a mobile app and you're just thinking about making one, and you're curious on how to market it, well, first start off with BuildFire. BuildFire is a quick and easy way where you can build an app without being a developer, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. So now that we got that out of the way, hopefully, you have a mobile app by now. The first thing you want to do when it comes to marketing your app is generate press. If you're too lazy and you don't want to generate press on your own, go check out prserve.com David's slow. It's founded by a guy named Chris Barrett. And Chris Barrett does performance-based press in which, when you get press, you pay. If he doesn't get you press, you shouldn't pay. Funny enough, that's how all PR should be. I don't know why these companies are trying to charge $10,000, $20,000 monthly retainers when they're not guaranteeing any press. All right, so you can use a service or a company like PRServe. If you want to do it on your own, go check out who's covering apps within your space. If you have a beauty app, then, all right, go check out all the beauty bloggers. Give them the app for free. And don't just give it to them for free when everyone else is getting it for free, but you want to give it to them before you launch it to the public. By giving them early access, they're going to be like, "Oh my God, I love you, Neil. "This app's amazing." And then they're going to cover it; they're going to feel special. And then when everyone starts covering it, then you're going to get some awesome press and some signups. Number two, what you want to do is get coverage in the blogosphere. It could just be someone talking about marketing, assuming you have a marketing app, and they include you within that blog spot. So what I do is I go reach out to all the bloggers who have already written articles that are related to my app. The third thing you want to do, and I hate to say this, spend money on advertising. You can get a ton of traffic from Facebook ads for your app installs. You can also go to other people out there who already have apps and buy ad space from them. You probably have some games on your phone. What do you see when you're playing these games? Every once in awhile it'll be like, pause, ad break, and there'll be an ad for another app. That's when you can get your app in there. It's dirt cheap. You can do this in quantity, and that'll also help you drive a lot of installs. Follow those three things, you'll get a lot more app installs, and you'll be popular, and hopefully, your app monetizes so that way you can make money. Once you have people in your app, then you can start doing like the virality, in which you can do invite flows, give people bonuses and points for sharing, rating, be reviewing your app, which will all help with more installs in the long run. But if you have no one coming into your app, those viral loops won't work.

Content Marketing Strategy (Top 7 Tips and Tricks)
Content marketing is a powerful strategy that produces serious results. Not only is it an effective way to build trust, generate leads, and increase sales, it’s a strategy that nearly any business on any budget can apply and benefit from. Now you may be sitting there thinking, “Been there, done that. Not for me,” or maybe you’re just exploring the idea of content marketing and not quite sure where to start. Either way, I can tell you that it absolutely can work to grow your business and it absolutely doesn’t have to be overly complicated. You just have to know where to focus your efforts. And by the end of this episode, you’ll have 7 Proven Content Marketing Tips to transform your content into the ultimate marketing tool. Content marketing tip #1: Begin with the end in mind There’s only one place you need to look to map out an effective content marketing strategy, and that place is the end. Here’s what I mean. The best way to develop your plan by working backwards. Before creating any type of content, get crystal clear on your marketing goals and what it is you’re trying to accomplish. This is what’s going to shape and streamline your message, giving every piece of content a strategic purpose. Content marketing tip #2: Know thy customer Here’s the bottom line: It’s useless to create content your target market doesn’t care about. Really, it defeats the purpose of content marketing altogether, right? This is why every single piece of content you create should hinge on knowing and understanding your audience. Creating an ideal customer avatar is one way to ensure you’re creating the right content for the right person. Content marketing tip #3: Salt in the wound Goals can wait. Hopes and dreams can be saved for a rainy day. But nothing makes someone more determined to act than pain. Whether it’s emotional, physical, or financial, when someone hurts they’re in the market for something to make it go away. Now obviously you’ll want to avoid using cruel or dramatic tactics here. But the key is to bring awareness to the discomfort and follow it up by offering a solution. Content marketing tip #4 Respect the platform Content should look like it belongs and not be out of place. That means respecting whatever media you’re using and studying what style and form of content performs best there. The best way to do this is to take a look at what other successful content creators are doing on the platform and then see how you can adapt, customize, and unleash your very own version of it. Also, don’t be afraid to look outside your industry for inspiration, the last thing the world needs is another “me too” piece of content. Content marketing tip #5: Go where they are A lot of valuable resources go into creating and distributing your content. So when it attracts little or no response, not only does it feel like time, energy, and money wasted, it discourages you from moving forward. So you’ll want to do everything possible to make sure your content doesn’t fall on deaf ears by choose platforms and channels your market uses. I know... sounds like common sense. But it’s easy to get sucked into using a million different social media channels just because they seem like the popular choice today. Content marketing tip #6 Syndicate and Share Once you have content, don’t be afraid to carve it up and share it across other channels and platforms. As an example a video can be turned into a podcast episode, can be transcribed into a blog post, and can be carved up further into Facebook posts, tweets, or condensed Linkedin articles. Content marketing tip #7 Call to Action You’ve just dosed your audience with a dangerous amount of high quality content. Now it’s time to use the opportunity to help guide your ideal prospect in the right direction. So do them right by providing them with the next logical piece of the puzzle. And you do that by ending every piece of content with a friendly call to action. Just like I’m about to do here. If you want to discover a way to quickly and easily deploy a high converting and profitable content marketing strategy in your business without the need to spend hours stuck at your desk or staring at the dreaded “blank screen of death” wondering what to write, then I highly encourage you to download your free copy of the Fast Content Formula by visiting adamerhart.com/fast ► Download your free copy of “The Fast Content Formula Here” – http://adamerhart.com/fast #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart

Content Marketing Strategy for Small Business | YouTube Content Strategy
Buy my book today! http://bit.ly/bestbrandingbook Contact me: http://www.edwindearborn.com/contact/ Connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/edwindearborn/ Content marketing strategy for small business forms the cornerstone of successful marketing and PR in today’s world. Content is what clearly communicates any company’s brand. Great and relative content should always be the focus of your website and overall marketing efforts. If there is no content worth reading or viewing on the site, then you cannot drive traffic to your site, much less keep them there. As the more popular saying goes these days, “Content is King”. But you cannot just create content for its own sake, but relevant content. In truth, the hard part of successful digital marketing isn’t drawing an initial amount of attention to a website, but to keep people coming back. This means you will need a regular stream of relevant content, not just good content every so often. Your content should be directed at a targeted audience, as modern-day marketers should focus on trying to understand their customers, rather than just tell them what they should be paying attention to. Your content will evidently evolve over time, as the target audience’s interests will change. But the more consistently a website’s content is to their target audience’s interests, the more successful it will be. The secret is to focus with the relationship you build with your community so that they respect, trust and admire you. Content can be company created as well as customer created. It can be curated or conversational. The fact of the matter is if you have content, you are more likely to generate leads and foster ongoing relationships with customers. “Content marketing is an umbrella term encompassing all marketing formats that involve the creation or sharing of content for the purpose of engaging current and potential consumer bases. Content marketing subscribes to the notion that delivering high-quality, relevant and valuable information to prospects and customers drives profitable consumer action. Content marketing has benefits in terms of retaining reader attention and improving brand loyalty. The idea of sharing content as a means of persuading decision-making has driven content marketers to make their once-proprietary informational assets available to selected audiences. Alternatively, many content marketers choose to create new information and share it via any and all media. Content marketing products frequently take the form of custom magazines, print or online newsletters, digital content, websites or microsites, white papers, webcasts/webinars, podcasts, video portals or series, in-person road shows, roundtables, interactive online, email, events. The purpose of this information is not to spout the virtues of the marketer’s own products or services, but to inform target customers and prospects about key industry issues, sometimes involving the marketer’s products. The motivation behind content marketing is the belief that educating the customer results in the brand’s recognition as a thought leader and industry expert.” – Wikipedia Please subscribe to my YouTube Channel

Brand Religion: A fresh take on today’s popular marketing strategies
Download the Brand Religion paper for a fresh take on today's popular marketing strategies. http://www.insites-consulting.com/brandreligion Are you a strong believer of Byron Sharp or do you feel stuck in-between marketing models? Listen to Katia Pallini for a fresh take on today's popular marketing strategies. In this short movie, Katia introduces our Brand Religion thinking, a simplification of the world of marketing in three main school of thoughts or, as we like to call them, Brand Religions: the Penetration Religion, the Influencer Religion and the Relationship Religion. The average lifespan of a company has dropped from 61 years in 1958 to a mere 15 years today. This reduction in lifespan can be attributed to the demanding environment brands and businesses are operating in. It is getting harder and harder for a brand to stand out. Brands are not only (more and more) limited in the use of claims, they are also under increased time pressure. They are being copied faster than ever, with these replicas even outperforming the originals. In this fast-pacing environment, established brands are being kicked off the throne by new market entrees. So how can a brand avoid its own zombification, where just like zombies you may think your brand is alive but in fact it’s been long dead? Many books have been written capturing marketing theories, frameworks and models on how to create future-proof brands. Yet this abundance of visions and beliefs often results in two types of scenarios. The first type consists of brands that paralyze, which do not know what to do and as such are almost waiting for their own grave to be dug. The second type are the brands that are switching around panicking; they change frameworks as soon as someone comes along sharing a new set of beliefs or visions. Yet in this paradox of choice, focus is required. Marketing visions and models bring this focus to brands and marketers. They provide them with a framework as for the drivers to grow their brands and on the dimensions and key performance indicators they should use to measure brand strength. Brands need to choose and follow what we like to call a religion. Because just like the definition of religion, we believe that brands should use these frameworks to guide them in everything they do and follow this with great devotion.

How to Stand Out From the Crowd in 2018 | 4 Secret Social Media Marketing Tips
The web is getting so competitive; everyone's already advertising on Facebook and Google. ►►Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://goo.gl/ScRTwc Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog Prices are going through the roof. Social media marketing, it's already competitive. How are you going to stand out from the crowd when your mom and dad are already on Facebook? Hey everyone, I'm Neil Patel, and today I'm going to share with you how you can stand out from the crowd with social media marketing. Tip #1: Leverage the new innovative channels out there. Facebook and Instagram are old. But you know what? On these social sites, they continually innovate. Who's Facebook trying to be? YouTube. So what does Facebook roll out? Facebook Watch. It's their version of showing live TV shows, just like YouTube. Facebook wants a slice of the action. If you post your video content to Facebook, they'll instantly give you a ton of views. Why? Because they want you to move all your video content over to Facebook. That's innovative, right? #2: Be transparent. The thing with marketing is that everyone sees it for what it is. Consumers these days see right through the gimmicks. So whatever you do, do you. But if you really want to stand out with social media marketing, be transparent. Lying and telling people that they're going to get results that they're not going to get, it's just going to make people not like you. Look at sites like smartpassiveincome.com run by Pat Flynn. Pat was an architect, and now he's just like, "Hey let me create a blog telling people and showing them "how I'm making money online "and let me even show 'em my numbers "and prove that these are my real stats." And people love it. It's all about being transparent, his marketing has taken off, and he's one of the most popular bloggers and even podcasters out there because he's transparent. And that's the cool part. By being transparent, you're gonna get a following of people being like, "Oh, cool, you're showing all of your amazing moments "and all your terrible moments." If you want to be transparent with your social media marketing leave a comment with your ideas and I'll tell you if it's going to work or if it won't. I've tested a lot of this stuff out, like on the Neil Patel blog; I shared my journey all the way from going from zero to a hundred thousand visitors a month. #3: Use videos. Look, you're watching me. You know the past few months I've been doing a ton of videos, I've been going to conferences, events, and you know what people have been saying? Neil, you have amazing content. I'm like, "Great you love my content. "What was the latest piece of content that you liked?" I'm just trying to get feedback on how I can improve. And they're like, "Oh, your video on X, Y, and Z topic." They're not talking about my podcasts; they're not talking about my blog content even though my blog content gets way more traffic. Everyone's talking about my video content. Why is that? It's because it's helping me build a deeper connection with you. Sure, there are lots of comments on my videos, but I also do that in my blog comments. Why isn't my blog growing as fast? People want videos; it's how they connect with one another. So, create videos. It's not about text-based content these days; it's not about audio-based content, if you want to stand out from the crowd it's all about videos. #4: Be a long-term thinker. Look at Gary Vaynerchuk; you think he's successful, right? He is. Did it happen overnight? No, it didn't. He had Wine Library TV before that, then he created his agency, then did the DailyVee, and eventually, yes, you're seeing him everywhere, but it took him a long time before he got to where he is. And the same with me. You think I'm an overnight success? No, I've been doing this for over 16 years. That's a long time. No, you don't have to put in 16 years like I am before you start seeing results and making money, but if you want to really succeed in the marketing world, you have to think of it as a three-plus year plan. Don't expect amazing things in the first six months; you'll see some traction. After the first year, you're going to start seeing growth. After the second year, things are going to start skyrocketing. After three years, assuming you're pushing hard every single week, then things are going to start blowing up. But, if you don't do it consistently you won't do well. It's all about the long game. Follow these tips, if you're not sure which one of them you should be leveraging first in your social media marketing arsenal so you can stand out from the crowd leave a comment, I'll respond, and I'll help you out. If you need help with online or digital marketing leave a question or comment below and I'll be sure to answer!

Marketing Strategies For Social Media (5 Tips For Marketing On Social Media)
Marketing strategies on social media are one of the most popular small business searches made. This makes sense though as never before have business owners had so much power, and we owe it all to the internet and social media. That’s why on today’s episode I’m going to go over 5 tips for marketing your business on social media. Tip #1: Know your target market The most important tip in regards to social media is to know your target market. This is so you don’t wind up wasting all your time, energy, and resources on a social media channel where none of your customers are active. Tip #2: Give more than you think you should Social media can absolutely increase your sales, but you need to do it carefully and strategically. The key to building a thriving and profitable community for your business on social media is to give, give, give, and then give some more. Tip #3: Design matters Design matters. Plain and simple. Ugly and amateur designs, bad header and profile images, and cheap graphics all work together to slowly destroy your brand and make your business look like it just doesn’t care, and above all, you want to look like you care. Tip #4: Say it with video Video has quickly become the number 1 content choice for consumers online. With 78% of people watching videos online every week, it’s a great way to connect with your customers and 52% of marketers name video as the type of content with the highest return on investment. Advanced Ninja Marketing Tip #5: Use Retargeting My final social media marketing tip today is slightly more advanced, but it unlocks a whole new world of possibilities, and that’s to use the power of retargeting. Retargeting allows you to track and then send different messages to people who have shown interest in your business by interacting with some of your content. ► Download your free copy of The One Page Business Plan Here – http://adamerhart.com/marketingplan #LINKS Website: http://adamerhart.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/adamerhart Facebook: http://facebook.com/officialadamerhart Instagram: http://instagram.com/adamerhart

Content Marketing Plan for Consultants
Content Marketing Plan for Consultants http://covetedconsultant.com/content-marketing-plan-for-consultants/ There are a couple of major points you should take away from this article: -You can no longer attract new clients the way you used to. Content marketing is no longer an “option” it is now a “must do”. -Content marketing is an asset that builds your business, BUT you must use it strategically and stop treating it as a distraction (or something ELSE to do) -Why Do We Create Content (At All)?-- Truth is, there is a fundamental difference between the marketing possibilities (just) 20 years ago and the marketing possibilities today. Yes I’m talking about the internet, but I want to be specific. Let me explain. In 1985: your best client had to look you up in a phone book and call you to begin the sales process. There were no cell phones. There were no smart phones. There were no tablets. The Internet wasn’t a term or a tool people could use. Clients found a vendor for services through the phone book. Find a name, call the number, and have a person explain services to you. Your BEST client had fewer information sources and expected the free consultation as the starting point to learn about your company. Today: your BEST client can learn everything (or nothing) about your company without ever having to call you. Your best client expects a free consultation to be one of the last steps, not one of the first. Because the Internet (and all of its information) is SO available through phones, tablets, televisions, etc clients expect to be able to learn “something” about your company before they engage (if at all). Your BEST client knows they have information at their finger tips. They want to know something about you before they engage. -What Do You Need To Make It Work?- If you are going to make content marketing work for you (and you should) there are a couple of must-haves so that you can claim your strategic advantage. Be sure you have the following ingredients: Ingredient 1 – Messaging strategy. You must have a clear, high-powered message. I’m not talking about the selfish “we are great”-type messaging . I’m talking about the client-focused, “we believe we can really help you” type messaging. Take the time to get clear on it. Ingredient 2 – Content plan and calendar. How many pieces of content will you create per month? What exactly do you expect your BEST client to do when they consume the content? This can’t be guesswork. It’s the kind of thing you need to have clear on paper first. Ingredient 3 – System for execution. You should NOT be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing all of the content. You’ve got to get a system for execution. Creating the content might not always be easy, but the process should always be clear. Ingredient 4 – Consistent inspiration. Believe it or not, you won’t always have great ideas for new content. You need a have a few resources at your fingertips to give you something to respond to. Popular blogs, old books, competitor sites, inspirational quotes, etc will help keep you sharp when it’s time to create content. Get Yourself An Action Plan! The Big Idea: content marketing is here to stay. It’s more than a good idea or a clever fad. It will be a legitimate part of how businesses compete from now on. It is to your advantage to take your great message and put it into wonderful content your BEST client can consume. Get your year long content marketing plan at the link above

The Best Marketing Strategy Of All Time
Subscribe on iTunes: http://grumo.com/itunes Subscribe on Google Play: http://grumo.com/googleplay Subscribe on Stitcher: http://grumo.com/stitcher ==== EPISODE NOTES: My Name is Miguel Hernandez and in today’s episode I’ll share with you the best marketing of all time. are you ready? let’s do it! 10 Marketing Strategies to Grow Your Audience 1. Guest Posts: this is the most popular way to leverage someone else’s audience. Large online publications are constantly looking for fresh content to offer their audience. Typically they have to hire writers to write articles so they love it when they can get great content for free. In exchange they should allow you to put a link back to your website at the end of the post. 2. Podcast interviews: podcasts are also constantly looking for new guests. You can find the top podcasts in your industry searching in places like Sticker, Google Play, or iTunes. Most podcast owners allow you to promote your products at the end of the interview. Sometimes the interview can be all about your new book, product or service! 3. Making a promotional video: This is how I started my demo video company Grumo Media. I made a list of awesome startups that didn’t have a promo video yet. I chose Hipmunk as my first target and spent 2 weeks creating the best possible demo video. I gifted them the video and the rest is history! 4. Writing a product review: this is also known as the “Poster Boy” Formula. You test an influencer’s product/service and then write/shoot an in-depth review. Ideally you include data supporting your results from testing the product/service (ie: sales, profit, traffic, etc.). 5. Record a testimonial: if you ever tried to sell anything you already know that testimonials from happy customers are possible the most valuable asset in your marketing arsenal. A testimonial per se may not give you much exposure but will help you build stronger relationship with your target influencer. 6. Business audit: this is a strategy widely used by companies offering web design and SEO services. For a small fee or free you can offer to audit your target’s website or product and offer improvement recommendations. In exchange they may be more likely to hire you, buy your product since they already had a chance to work with you and test your service. 7. Speak at industry events: find the top 10 events in your industry and try to get in as a speaker. If you are just starting out it will be hard to get in the top events so you can work your way down. You can also speak at local meetups. Speaking events are great to gain exposure, credibility, connections, and if you are allowed to promote your product/service the highest converting marketing channel of all! 8. Giving a free class online: the most common way to do this is via a webinar. People with large email lists are always looking for great products/services to offer their audience. The way this works is you offer to teach something to their audience for free and at the end you get to promote your product/service. Typically, the list owner will get a commission for every sale generated from the webinar. This is one of the most effective ways to generate revenue and build your audience at the same time! 9. Get listed in ProductHunt/AppSumo/Groupon: Anytime you can get your product in front of many eyeballs you win. ProductHunt is the top destination for people looking for new tech products. Sites like AppSumo and Groupon offer products at a very heavy discount for a limited time to hundreds of thousands of people. With AppSumo I generated more than $10K in one day with this offer. Participating in TV contests: this may seem odd but if you are not camera shy TV contests are an amazing way to get tons of exposure. Santiago Segura, One of the most famous Spanish film directors today became famous by appearing on many TV contests. He financed his firm film with the winnings from one of those contests! 10. (BONUS) 10X popular content: This comes from content marketing expert Sujan Patel. The strategy consist of finding content (articles, videos) that are popular or trending and then creating an improved/updated version of the same article (10Xing). You can find the content using Google or BuzzSumo and then you can approach websites/influencers that linked to that article using a tool like the Moz toolbar and ask them to share/link to your article. If the post you are 10Xing was a guest post, you could approach the same website and let them know you’ve written an improved version and ask them to publish yours too. Nike Marketing Strategy: How Nike Branding Flatters Athlete Egos
http://602communications.com/ Dig deep inside Nike branding campaigns and you'll discover a very simple archetype story. By repeating this one story over and over, Nike marketing strategy delivers a powerful shot of customer self-esteem. In this speech from the IMark marketing conference in Iceland, emotional marketing speaker Graeme Newell reveals the five-step formula that keeps Nike branding at the top of the list of the world's most powerful marketers. I love Nike. I love Nike advertising, Nike ads, Nike commercials, Nike marketing strategy, Nike branding, and Nike brand strategy. I love all of it, and I love it a lot. What's more, I'm not alone. Nike ads have built the Nike brand into a juggernaut that appeals to almost every single man, woman, and child on this planet. Nike Advertising Power Why does Nike branding work so well? Nike advertising is full of excitement and everything that makes a good sporting-goods ad, but Nike ads are nearly unique in how good they are. So what is the deal with Nike marketing strategy that makes them so great? It's the message that is contained in Nike commercials and every piece of Nike branding that goes out. Nike advertising revolves around a single, universal emotion that is felt the same by nearly everyone on the planet. The idea of struggle and determination is what gives Nike commercials their fire. And every piece of Nike branding revolves around this thing How Nike Ads Capitalize on Archetypes If it told you that Nike marketing strategy is thousands of years old, you probably wouldn't believe me. However, Nike branding, like their name (originating from the Greek Goddess of Victory Nike) is as old as the Greek Civilization. Great works like the Iliad and the Odyssey revolve around the archetype of the hero. The hero is someone who faces a great foe, one who is seemingly insurmountable, and through dedication and perseverance, prevails. Nike brand strategy truly does hail from the time of the ancient Greeks, and there's a reason it still works. This is because the feelings that Nike commercials evoke are feelings that all humans have. The heroes in Nike advertising are universal heroes, regardless of age, race, gender, or anything else. The Real Message of Nike Commercials Nike commercials show all sorts of ripped, young men and women pushing themselves to the limits against a foe, but what are Nike ads really portraying? They're portraying you and me. Nike brand strategy knows that everyone sees the hero in themselves. Nike branding understands that even though we aren't slaying dragons or rescuing princesses, just getting out of bed in the morning to go to the gym, to work, to school, or anything else, is as trial in and of itself, and Nike commercials are all over that. How Nike Brand Strategy Comes Out in Nike Commercials Nike branding relies on a five-step formula to really drive the Nike marketing strategy home in Nike commercials. Nike ads, with very few exceptions, follow this five step formula in one way or another. The five step formula in Nike advertising is how they show the various stages that the hero must go through in order to fulfil his quest. Nike branding simply channels the story of the hero, one that has been told for millennia, into Nike ads and watches the brand explode. The 5-Steps Nike Branding Uses in Nike Ads Nearly every piece of Nike advertising follows the 5-step formula of Nike branding. First, Nike ads show first to the challenge, in the zone, doubt and suffering, rededication, and finally, victory. Nike branding uses these five steps to universally appeal to men, women, and children all over the world, and to great effect. What Each Step in Nike Marketing Strategy Means Key to Nike ads are the five steps. Nike commercials tend to begin with someone being the first to the challenge, first to the plate, the first up. This is how Nike brand strategy demonstrates first to the challenge. Nike branding then shows the person in the zone, working hard at whatever it is they're doing, and then comes the doubt and suffering. It's at this point in Nike ads that we are unsure if the main character is going to make it through, but then Nike marketing strategy kicks back in with rededication. The character rededicates herself to the goal, and attains victory. So to recap: -Nike advertising is a powerhouse because it taps the deepest emotions we feel as a species -One of these emotions is that of the hero, an archetype that human beings all over the world can all feel -Nike commercials do this by using a 5-step formula that shows the hero overcoming great struggles. http://602communications.com/

Online Marketing Strategies | Content Marketing How To
http://www.followterry.tv Effective Online Marketing Strategies: Good Content and Accurate Content Promotion Content marketing is one of the best online marketing strategies that does not resemble any form of marketing at all, at least not on its face. With content marketing, you market your content, not the product. Today's entrepreneurs no longer think that this approach is absurd. In fact, this is one of the most effective strategies there is, particularly because salesy ads tend to turn people off, and content offers a host of advantages that customers do not get with traditional advertising. Advantages of Content Marketing Information as commodity Content marketing is effective because people are drawn to information they can use. Information is as much a commodity these days as good products are. When people receive useful information that they do not have to pay a dime for, it is easy for them to come back so the can get more. This appeal makes marketing with good content an effective tool in ultimately drawing potential customers' attention to the product. Flexibility, utility and entertainment Without good content as an integral part of your advertising campaign, you face an uphill battle because there is nothing you are offering the reader apart from the product. Even if you do have a spectacular product on your hands, you are competing with other retailers and providers that offer the same product and may even have a better promotional tactic that you do. Content is very flexible since you can tailor it to be as specific or as broad as you like, as long as you offering the benefit of information and even a bit of useful entertainment to readers and potential customers. Boost Your Marketing Strategy with Content Marketing and Paid Advertising As good as your content is, your target client will not stumble on the product by accident. It takes a good marketing strategy to hawk your products and services in a way that makes them visible to your target population. This is where paid advertising comes in handy. While content marketing is already a powerful tool by itself, it becomes more of a juggernaut when paired with paid advertising using popular social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Bing Pay Per Click. Facebook offers advertisers sponsored stories that are posted on the feeds of users who are more likely to read them. Paid Facebook features can help lead readers to opt in pages or subscribe pages for email leads that are essential for creating leads. Twitter promotes paid tweets to people who are more likely to be interested in the promoted product or those more likely to take on the action such as take part in sales and giveaways and share links to blog posts. Twitter has also been found to be very effective in driving leads using lead generation cards. Pay per click is a very practical option since paid content is integrated inside the publisher's layout of content in a way that is unobtrusive and does not disrupt from the usual way of browsing on that website or page. Brands pay to have this content placed in front of more eyes by choosing websites that have a reader population that is also likely to patronize the services or products offered by that brand. This strategy enhances content personalization since users who regularly visit a website are more likely to read a sponsored post that is still closely related to the content of the site that they regularly visit. Content creation is different from content promotion. The best content that your customers will benefit greatly from is worth nothing if it is not promoted well. Paid advertising puts content marketing at an advantage because paid advertising is often delivered as a seamless part of browsing experience. When you utilize promoted tweets or sponsored Facebook posts or pay for your content to be featured on Youtube, you are embedding your content in the natural browsing environment of potential customers. Paid advertising rides on the coattails of search engine algorithm that tailors the kind of advertisements to the browsing habits of the searcher, which means you get more access to users that have looked or are looking for the type of product or service you provide. This ability to pair your products with the people who are most likely to buy them is what make paid content marketing strategies so effective. Integrating good content is a powerful approach to any business. Paired with paid advertising from the most popular social networking platforms like Facebook, Youtube, Bing and Twitter, you get a very effective marketing strategy with the potential to create lasting brand awareness and loyal customers.
