China's Crazy Cashless Payment Revolution turns World around
China's Crazy Cashless Payment Revolution turns World around . China's Cashless Revolution . In the developing world, a new payment model is emerging. On a recent trip to Shenzhen, in southern China, I came across a subway busker with two tip jars. The first was a cardboard box filled with coins and bills; the second was a small QR code taped to the box that allowed passersby to leave a tip by smartphone. On one level, this was simply smart business: Chinese made around $5.5 trillion in e-payment transactions last year. But it also offered a glimpse of the future. Around the developing world, QR codes are beating out Apple Pay and other brand-name payment services for consumers and businesses keen to go cashless. China offers a useful model for that transformation -- and a standard that others may soon be emulating. The QR code may seem like an unlikely candidate to foster a financial revolution. It was developed in the 1990s by Japan's Denso Corp. after customers grew dissatisfied with the limited amount of information that could be stored using traditional barcodes. In solving that problem, Denso came up with new codes that could be read 10 times more quickly than their predecessors -- QR stands for "quick response." The technology first caught on in Japan's automotive industry, which used it to track inventory. But in the early 2000s, Japanese customers began buying feature phones that could read the codes, and marketers began using them to promote websites and products. By the time Tencent Holdings Ltd. released the social media app WeChat, in 2011, it was clear that QR codes had a lot more potential. WeChat offered users personalized codes that could be used to exchange contact information. When combined with the app's built-in wallet, they could also be used for payments. Sending money through the app has since become a way of life: During this year's Chinese New Year holiday, WeChat users sent 46 billion cash gifts via virtual "red envelopes." That success shows why QR code payments are likely to take off in emerging markets. For one thing, they don't require credit cards, which few people in poorer countries have. Apple Pay and other such services, which use Near Field Communication technology, are uneconomical for many of these consumers. (Apple Pay's market share in China is in the single digits, despite a recent marketing push.) And the small-scale merchants that predominate in the developing world -- restaurants, corner markets, buskers -- have little reason to invest in expensive payment terminals for the equivalent of $0.50 transactions. WeChat Pay, by contrast, allows just about anyone with a bank account and a smartphone to make electronic payments. All a Shanghai noodle shop or a Shenzhen busker needs to accept payments is a free WeChat account and a printout of a QR code. Much of China has become a QR first economy, where codes are now found next to nearly every cash register. WeChat's share of China's mobile payments market has grown from 3.3 percent in 2013 to 40 percent today. Other developing countries are starting to see the potential. Last year, MasterCard Inc. rolled out a QR code system in Africa that has already attracted 100,000 Nigerian traders. In February, the Indian government launched IndiaQR, its latest effort to spur a cashless society. Thailand is similarly enthusiastic. But perhaps the most ambitious step is a new industry standard published last week by EMVCo, a global payments consortium that includes MasterCard, Visa Inc. and the state-backed China UnionPay Co. The effort, spearheaded by UnionPay, would effectively extend China's payment standard globally, helping to ensure that QR-mediated transactions can flow seamlessly between banks and card companies, while also making them more secure. That should make the technology more attractive to consumers, merchants and governments around the world. It could help fill the digital tip jars of subway buskers from Shenzhen to Lagos. And it just might make the cashless society a reality far sooner than anyone had predicted. Thanks for watching. Subscribe to our channel. Thanks for watching. Mobile Payment Revolution: China vs US
“The payment market, especially mobile payment, is one of the segments in which China is actually moving much, much faster than the US market. Americans would be surprised at how deep the penetration is for WeChat pay and Alipay in China’s mobile payment business. In the US it’s very hard for you to imagine that you can use your mobile to pay for almost anything in life – taxis, shopping, movie tickets, restaurants, the list is endless. In the US, people still carry dozens of cards in their wallet or purse and they swipe these cards almost everywhere. This is why companies like Square, for example, can do very well in the US because it helps consumers do business with small and medium sized merchants who couldn’t otherwise afford payment terminals. Remember also that in the US the concentration ratio of the retailers is way higher than in the Chinese market. So this is why, for example, if you look at Apple Pay and even Google’s Android Pay, while they were very advanced technologies there’s huge opposition from the large merchants. Companies like Walmart, Target and Starbucks would rather have their own payment systems. Apple Pay is definitely not a first mover in China; it’s a sort of a late mover in the market. They have to work very hard to increase their penetration ratio of the payment terminals here. But almost all the grocery stores in China, especially in the big cities, are already occupied by the free bar scanners offered by Tencent and Ali. So there’s a long way to go.” ~ Yu Zhang, CEIBS Prof. of Management

How to Find a Supplier on Alibaba & Find a Chinese Manufacturer
This video tutorial will teach you how to find a supplier on Alibaba & find a Chinese manufacturer. ►► Free Ebook - Make $10,000/Month Online: http://wholesaleted.com/4-step Here are our step-by-step instructions on how to find a supplier on Alibaba: Step 1: Go to Alibaba and find the search bar. Type in the name of a product that you are interested in selling. In this video I used vitamin pills as an example. Step 2: Because a lot of suppliers have duplicate listings on Alibaba for the same item (because it increases their presence in the Alibaba search engine) you will need to filter the results by clicking on “browse by suppliers.” Step 3: To filter the results down further, search by “Gold Suppliers.” Most suppliers will do this because it has become basically a prerequisite for having new buyers contact them. It doesn’t cost them much money to do this, so the results will only be filtered by a small amount. Step 4 (OPTIONAL): If the list of suppliers is still too long, then click to filter the results by “assessed supplier.” This is only necessary in very popular niches where you have a large number of suppliers that you need to filter down to a manageable amount. Step 5: Contact 10-20 suppliers at least. If you have time, then contact more. The more you contact, the better. Here is the email template referenced in our video tutorial on how to find a supplier on Alibaba: "My name is [INSERT NAME] from [INSERT BUSINESS NAME]. Our company director asked me to contact your company about working together on a lucrative, long-term venture. We are a company that sells products related to [INSERT NICHE HERE] and we do over 2 million dollars in sales each year. We’re looking to expand our product range and create a profitable partnership between your company and ours. We are planning to purchase [INSERT ITEM] to our product line. It would need to meet these specifications: * Specification (e.g size) * Specification (e.g. quantity) * Specification (e.g. colour) We have been researching different companies in China that manufacture [INSERT ITEM] and we think that your company could be a great supplier for it. We would like to get some more information and have a few questions that we would like you to please answer: * Can we please get a sample of the product as soon as possible. Can you please let us know how much you will charge for the sample, including Express shipping to [INSERT COUNTRY], zip code [INSERT ZIP CODE]? We would like to pay with PayPal. * How long will it take to receive the sample? * What types of packaging do you usually use for this product? * How long does it take to manufacture once an order has been placed? * What is the product-per-unit cost including shipping via Air Express to the United States, ZIP code 85043? * Do you accept PayPal for the full-order?" We would be very grateful if you would contact us with answers to the above questions as well as any additional policies that we may need to know. We would also like to discuss with you further about doing a sample order for the product. We are hopeful that we can start a mutually beneficial relationship. Please add me on Skype and talk to me, as this is my ideal form of communication: [INSERT ID] Alternatively you can email me back at this address: [INSERT ADDRESS] Kind regards, [NAME]” Here are some final tips to keep in mind when you are looking to find a supplier on Alibaba to manufacture your Amazon FBA private label products: Tip #1 on how to find a supplier on Alibaba: Don’t judge the supplier/manufacture by their Alibaba response rate. The Alibaba response rate only takes into account how fast they respond within Alibaba’s email system, and it doesn’t take into account how fast they reply to personal emails. This is not a good indicator of how responsive they will be to private communication, which is all you should care about. Tip #2 on how to find a supplier on Alibaba: Avoid manufacturers that try to vet your business. If a manufacturer comes back and starts asking questions about your business, clearly skeptical of the size of your company, it is best to move on. Manufacturers that do this will usually decline to work with you as they are only to work with other large companies, so you don’t want to waste your time. Tip #3 on how to find a supplier on Alibaba: It is OK to work directly with a sales rep - if they offer you a better deal. When you are looking to find a supplier on Alibaba, you’ll discover that sales reps often have inflated prices (due to commission cuts). But occasionally, a sales rep will have a better relationship with a factory and so are able to negotiate lower prices. They will also often have good english, making communication easier. Vet sales reps and treat them as equals during the process of picking and choosing the right supplier.

Importing from China - Sourcing Products from Chinese Suppliers
Importing from China is a fantastic way to source private label products. Chinese suppliers are high-profit, low-cost! Interested in making $10,000/Month? Download our free ebook here: http://wholesaleted.com/4-step Please note: this description contains affiliate links Importing from China is something that I strongly recommend. It is much cheaper to purchase product from Chinese suppliers compared to USA suppliers. Some people find this idea very daunting, especially the cultural barrier. To help you, we’ve created this video outlining some of our top tips when importing from China. Tip #1: Order the minimal order quantity to start with when importing from China To be on the safe side, you should always start with the minimal order quantity when dealing with a new supplier. I understand that a lot of sellers want to start out by ordering larger quantities. This makes sense, because the more you order the lower the cost is per-item, and the higher your profit margins. It also means that you will have a smaller chance of running out of stock. In Spite of this, when importing from China with a new Chinese supplier, I recommend starting with the minimal order quantity (EVEN if you know it’ll sell well) because you want to test the quality. It is much harder to go from producing 1 unit to producing 200… and even harder to go from producing 200 to 1000. On that note, you should ALWAYS be ordering a test product when dealing with a new Chinese supplier! You’ll have to pay for the shipping, but it is extremely important to do this to check the quality even if the supplier has a lot of reviews on Alibaba. Tip #2: Do due diligence on the supplier That said, reviews on Alibaba are very important. When using Alibaba to source Chinese suppliers, check the reviews. Only work with suppliers that have positive reviews. Be sure to check the address of the supplier on Google Maps. Ensure that there is a factory at the address noted. If there isn’t a factory, then it is likely a middle man… which means you’re paying inflated prices, and not the at-cost price. And pick up the phone and give them a call. Make sure someone picks up the phone and talks to you (yes - this may seem obvious, but a lot of people don’t do this simple thing). Even better is if you can find people who can personally recommend Chinese suppliers to you. This way, you can work with suppliers that you can trust from the get-go. Tip #3: Build a strong relationship with your supplier and representative This is an important lesson not just when importing from China but for business and life in general. Treat people with respect and they will treat you with respect as well. Think about it: If someone was disrespectful to you, would you want to help them? On the other hand, if someone is nice to you, don’t you want to help them? Be respectful, and friendly. In addition, Chinese suppliers like you to be formal in your communication style with them. They like to be told directly that you appreciate their business and are happy with the products being produced. They will be hoping to turn you into a long-term client, and want the positive feedback, so be sure to give it to them. Tip #4: Don’t feel you need to speak Mandarin When importing from China, some people get put off by the perceived language barrier. “But I only know English… can I still import from China?” Yes - you can! Chinese factories have English representatives specifically for people like you. Their English is good and you’ll have minimal language barriers. Don’t let this stop you from profiting from the very cheap products you can source from China. Now, when importing from China there are some things you can do to minimize the language barrier. One, use short sentences, and do not include extra fluff. Be straight to the point. Two, use professional language, do not use slang. Three, be aware that there are multiple types of “English.” Four, don’t assume that your representative knows YOUR particular flavour of English. Avoid country-specific words and isms. Tip #5: Remember that when importing from China “yes” doesn’t always mean YES. In China it is considered impolite for the suppliers to say no. So, even when they want to say no… they are unlikely to, and will often say yes instead. However, this doesn’t mean it is a yes. It is a no. But they will say “yes” anyway. It is one frustrating quirk. If you sense any hesitation in their “yes” ask them the same question, be reworded differently multiple times. If you ever get a “maybe” that is almost always a no! We hope you enjoyed our video and learned some tips for importing from Chinese suppliers. Do you want to learn how to earn over $10,000 a month on Amazon, with dropshipping? Now do not say here that by making cheap products, this is known to the whole world. Rather, why are they so cheap, why do they bring them by saying? all of this... Everyone believes that China does not create anything new, they always make copies. But everywhere you can learn something new. So today at the level of China, I do not know how long it will stay, but today you can learn something from them, there are some topics which everybody should learn. 1) Everyone knows that China has a huge hand in the robot world and China has tested it several times and continues to do it. So that more and more work is done by a robot. And China had set up the most industrial robots in 2016, compared to the rest of the world. And in that too China bought a third part of the world's total robot alone. A mission named "Made in China 2025" has been released to create an automatic industry in Future. Under which 27% shipment and 90 thousand units have been started. In which China has started making its own Intelligent Machine. According to Bloomberg's report, it can interfere with the global economy due to China's automation increasing. Meaning the whole world economy will shake, this is such a big project. 2) How big is China's digital payment market? So China's digital payment market is 50 times larger than the US Digital Payment Market. But according to the Ten-cent report, China's mobile and the media's large market has seen a decline in cash transfers. In 2016, the Chinese Consortium had transmitted 5.5 trillion dollars from the mobile payment platform, and it consisted of mostly young groups and women. In the we-chat of China's social platform, 52% of the users said that we do 5 parts of the transaction in the cash transfer, the rest of the digital payment. 3) China is building the world's most powerful laser. Make a brand new citizen complex, "Station of Extreme Light". And 20 times more powerful laser light will be used. That is, with this laser you can get accurate information about stars and black holes. 4) China has run towards AI, meaning Artificial Intelligence. And China already has two fastest supercomputers in the world. According to Bloomberg, according to Bloomberg, China has three advantages: a large number of engineers to make software, a large base of 751 million Internet users to test the software, and most importantly Support of the government and the government of the government support 5) China's innovative company is not digital. In the list of Forbes Top 100 Innovative Companies, China's Highest Ranking Rank is not a Tech Company but Biotech. Shanghai RAAS blood product, which imposes new technology for health care, which is the fourth largest in the world. In total, they have 6 companies, in which Tencent is at 24th, KKC Material Group at 47th, online travel firm Strip at 55th place, Search Engine Leader Baidu at 60th, and Medicines Supplier Jiangsu Hungrui Medicine 82 They are at number. 6) You can do the job of calling a pollution report and a drone in China with a mobile app. Well, in the global drone market, 70% of the drones are from China alone. In India, the use of drones is only for shooting the camera, but China uses a drone in a lot of places, such as to check the complaints of people about pollution, to fireworks in the sky, to break the crackers For And the drone is used to sprinkle medicines on crops. So, with all these things, you have come to the conclusion that according to the work that is done in today's date, it is going to be a strong country, and even economists across the world say that in the coming times, China and India is such a country that will carry the world economy in its fist. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music by : Fanfare for Space by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...) China's Suntech Default on $541M Debt Payment
The world's largest solar panel maker, located in China, has defaulted on a $541 million debt payment. Suntech Power Holdings was due to make the payments on its bonds last Friday(March 15) but was unable to pay. The company owes payments to both Chinese and international lenders. Suntech's financial woes come as prices of solar panels fall. There is oversupply on the market right now and Chinese manufacturers have been blamed this. The US and Europe have filed trade suits against Chinese manufacturers for selling the panels below cost. They say the Chinese regime has been unfairly subsidizing companies, giving them an unfair advantage. Prior to the default, Suntech had reached an agreement with 60% of its creditors to defer the March 15th payment. But the remaining 40% remains outstanding. In a statement on Monday, the company says its finding a way forward. The default means Suntech's creditors can now launch legal proceedings, but so far, the company says it is not aware of any lawsuits. How To Buy From Alibaba. What you should take care while ordering from alibaba
Alibaba is the best website when it comes to ordering goods from China. China has a lot of manufacturers of various categories like mobile accessories, mobile phones, computer peripherals, watches, shoes, electronic products, electronic gadgets and much more. Subscribe to My Channel and Get More Great Tips: https://goo.gl/lJ8e17 The best reason so many people order from alibaba is because of the cheap price and all type of quality that is available from the manufacturers. There are millions of people from the world orders from alibaba and china exports maximum products from their country to the order parts of the world. It is also very important to know few important things before you start to import from china through alibaba. If we talked about Indian consumer market there is a huge demand of Chinese products because of the low price and the good quality basis. Lot of e Commerce website flipkart Snapdeal Paytm ShopClues eBay they are so much dependent on Chinese products due to their low product value and good quality. Most of the importers who gets the products from China through Alibaba sell their products on these Marketplace website at a very low price. This makes it very difficult for new online sellers to sell products at a good price because they will not earn any profit from the sale. This is why I have shown in this video how you can import products from China, how to import from China through Alibaba. Many people also ask if you need any import export licence to get the products from China. The answer is yes, you need import export licence if you wish to bring products from China to sell in India legally. I would advise everyone of you to have import export licence if you wish to import products from China and sell in India in bulk. The import export licence or you can also call IE licence is very easily available for people who wants to do import export business. It doesn't cost much and can be easily available on a price of around 250 to 500 rupees. So it is better to have import export licence if you want to import products from China through Alibaba. Now, you need to remember these points while you are from Alibaba. These points are very critical specially for those people who are doing the business for the first time in alibaba.com. Please make a note of these points why you do a purchase from Alibaba and try to sell it in India at low price. 1) verify if the person is a manufacturer for a middleman. Avoid dealing with a middleman as you will not get a good deal from Alibaba if you are trying to deal through a middleman. 2) verify the address of the manufacturer and also called the manufacturer through your mobile phone or you can call through WhatsApp on Skype. 3) verify the address of the manufacturer in Google Maps 4) negotiate with manufacturer. 5) as the manufacturer to send a sample. 6) make it very clear with the manufacturer about the payment terms. 7) get clear information about the shipping date and the overall order processing time before you make the payment. 8) check the manufacturer of the seller ratings and reviews before doing a purchase. 9) consider looking at the response rate in Alibaba before doing a transaction with them. 10) send a quote request to the manufacturer asking them to give you the best rate for certain quantity beginning. Please make sure you follow these steps or more if you can from your side before you place an order or close a deal in Alibaba to order products in bulk. Also know that if someone tells you that they will get the product for you from China without paying any custom duty or import duty then do not believe that person very easily. It is practically not possible and legally not advised to do anything that sort. It is always better to pay custom duty and import duty whichever is applicable to make sure that you do not fall in trouble in the future. Alibaba is a very nice website for Sourcing millions of products which you can sell at a very good rate in India provided you are following the right steps and the guidelines said by the indian government. China Cracks Down Further On VPNs
Digital Marketing News; http://webcertain.tv The Chinese government has taken further steps to stop the use of VPNs in the country. At the beginning of July, they ordered the popular GreenVPN to halt operations. Now, state-run telecom companies such as China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telcom have been told by authorities that they need to block access to all VPNs by the first of February 2018. VPNs are used by internet users in the country who want to get around the strict internet policies in China, and work by accessing sites via networks in other locations. President Xi launched a nationwide “cyber-sovereignty” campaign earlier this year, in order to crackdown on dissent and public access to the worldwide internet. Jake Parker, the Beijing-based vice-president of the US-China Business Council to Bloomberg, said that this most recent move seems to be targeted at individuals, but could also impact businesses who use the technology. He added that it could be enough to “make a company think about closing or reducing operations in China”. Microsoft has announced plans to help introduce high-speed internet to two million Americans within the next two years. In a scheme called the Rural Airband Initiative, the company will begin to implement its new system in 12 states to begin with, targeting what the company called “white spaces”, which are the wireless radio airwaves that aren’t already owned by broadcasters. Currently, 23 million Americans in rural areas in the US do not have access to high-speed internet, a huge number of potential consumers for ecommerce retailers who may be suffering due to the bad connections. However, Microsoft claimed that it was not looking to become a telecom provider, but instead was looking to work with existing providers to provide better connections around the US. Stripe has signed a deal with Alipay and WeChat, in a move that will see businesses become able to activate both Alipay and WeChat Pay on their Stripe dashboards. This means that both payments services will be available to be accepted by vendors using Stripe. Alipay will accept one-off and recurring payments, although the recurring payments will only be available within a private beta test. The move means that Chinese buyers will now be able to buy from overseas websites that use Stripe, using Alipay and WeChat. John Collison, president and co-founder of Stripe, said the company “aims to build a unified infrastructure for the internet economy”. He added that the implementation of the two payment services will allow businesses to “access the once-impenetrable Chinese market”. Google is looking set to become the latest mobile payment option in India, with the introduction of its Android Pay app. The CEO of the National Payments Corporation of India has told reporters that Google has completed testing on its payments platform in the country. Following the tests, it looks ready to become the first international company to launch a payment service in the country, joining Paytm, India’s largest mobile wallet company, and Airtel. Google has said that it is “always looking for ways to make it easy for people to pay with their mobile devices”. The company added that it wanted to expand “to the next billion users”, with India being a key market to finding more users. And finally, programmatic advertising is taking off amongst small businesses in the Netherlands. Despite slowing growth over the past few years compared to other Western markets, it has become the country’s top digital advertising method amongst small publishers. Mobile Payment Changes Way of Life in China
What if you could pay for everything on your smartphone through your social media app? And as you pay, you could submit a review, recommend the service to friends, and earn rewards. What if that same app could be used to book hospital appointments, apply for visas, book flights and work seamlessly when you are traveling abroad? In China, that is not the future, but the here and now, and it is called We ChatPay. Currently most of the restaurants and cafes in urban areas of the country accept WeChat Pay for everything on the menu. All you need to do is to tap on the phone, scan the codes and make the payment in a second or two. Applications like WeChat are also helping transform city services like making appointment at hospitals and sending mails from the post office. Even small vendors in open markets can buy into the technological revolution that is going on in the country. By cooperating with a third-party finance company, vendors in the markets are able to offer the mobile payment through the QR Codes hanging above the scales at their stalls. That means shoppers do not have to carry cash around; they just need to bring the phones around. However, the mobile payment industry is highly competitive in the country. Big fishes like WeChat Pay and Alibaba's Alipay plus many smaller rivals are all competing for market share. And the market for mobile payment has also spawned a whole industry of third-party companies who are bringing more and more services to mobile payment platforms.
