11:52
Create email distribution groups in the exchange server. We use distribution groups located in Exchange to send email to a specific group of users. “Distribution Group” It is the basic mail distribution group in the Exchange system. It is used only for sending mail. “Security Group” There are 2 different groups in Active Directory. The first is a security group and the other is a distribution group. You can use it for both sending mail and for authorization. “Dynamic Distribution Group” This is a mail distribution group in which members are not statically determined. Create Mail enabled security groups to use in Power BI via PowerShell

09:00
In this video, Adam looks at how you can create mail enabled security groups via PowerShell and copy members from an Office 365 Unified group into that new group. This came about based on a limitation that within Power BI, you can't list O365 Unified groups (what back App workspaces) from the people picker for access or sharing. To get around this with a customer, we suggested creating a mail enabled security group and copying the members to that new group. The mail enabled security group will show up in the people picker. Make sure you have installed the Azure AD 2.0 PowerShell module to use this script. You will also need to have access to Exchange Online and be an admin.
