U.S. Atop Global Natural Gas Market
Subscribe Here: http://subscribe.energyandcapital.com/123264 Natural gas Investors are well aware of the United States' grip on the natural gas market, and its dominating potential for future gains. In 2008 (though it actually started much earlier), U.S. companies that had been combining hydraulic fracturing with horizontal drilling techniques hit pay dirt. Between 2005 and 2015, the United States’ marketed natural gas production more than doubled! It also completely eliminated our reliance on foreign natural gas for energy. New Russia Sanctions HIT EU, Are About NATURAL Gas :Here's WHY They're DOOMED
On todays report of The Fing news Uncle Volodya says, “It’s like when you make a move in chess and just as you take your finger off the piece, you see the mistake you’ve made, and there’s this panic because you don’t know yet the scale of disaster you’ve left yourself open to.” That's probably the outcome of the new US sanctions against Russia/Iran which have already got some major EU countries furious. --------- Due to the MSM's war on alt. media, US's and EU's new laws to label alt. media as 'fake news' then censor them and the recent mass-demonetization of news channels on Youtube, The Fing News needs your help to become fan-funded through Patreon or Paypal. 10 Driving Hacks That'll Make You Spend Less On Gas
How to spend less money on gas? How to drive a car easily and safely? There is a direct connection between mileage and the frequency of maintenance services. Here are 10 brilliant driving hacks and secrets that will help you save gas money and drive your car like a pro. TIMESTAMPS - Why is gas so expensive? 0:54 - Don’t put the pedal to the metal 2:20 - Use cruise control on the highway 3:18 - Undergo servicing on time 4:04 - Turn off the air conditioning 4:58 - Make your route logistically efficient 5:47 - Don’t drive when it rains 6:34 - Monitor your tire pressure 7:24 - Remove unnecessary weight 8:04 - Keep an eye on gas prices 8:35 - Always stay alert on the road 9:11 SUMMARY Why is gas so expensive? Because oil is? That’s right. Crude oil, to be precise. It makes up 72 of gasoline price. We pay the remaining 28 percent for distribution, refining, and taxes. The reasons for gas prices to rise are the weakening dollar, natural disasters and simple rules of supply and demand. Prices rise when demand is bigger than supply. Prices usually drop down in the winter when fewer people are traveling across the country. We can hardly affect any of the things we just mentioned. But we can affect our choice when buying a car. Some cars are less fuel-efficient than others. But we still love them and want to have them. They are ultra high-end luxury cars and large vans and SUVs. Sports cars are already very expensive themselves and also require you to feed their turbocharged engines, which create more horsepower. If you don’t have a sports car, but paying for gas is still a nightmare, then you probably own one of the best-selling cars in America. Toyota Camry, Corolla, Prius and Honda Civic, Accord and CR-V. Give this video a “thumbs up” if we guessed it right. Thermal efficiencies as high as about 60% have been found in lab testing, which is remarkable for internal combustion engines. Combustion relies on a low reactivity fuel (in this case gasoline, though ethanal and natural gas can also be used) in combination with a high reactivity fuel (in this case diesel fuel). The engine benefits from the individual advantages of each fuel, resulting in exceptional efficiency and significantly less harmful emissions. Check out the video for details about how it works! Where Do We Get Oil From? - Geography for Kids | Educational Videos by Mocomi
http://mocomi.com/ presents: Where do we get oil from? The Earth’s surface, millions of years ago, was covered with more water than what it has today and living in this were billions of tiny plants and animals. When these plants and animals died, they fell to the ocean floor and piled up. Sand from eroding rocks and mud covered them up. These layers of sand and mud were heavy and this weight turned them into sedimentary rocks. Heat from the earth and the weight of the rocks caused the dead plants and animals to compress into oil. Once the oil is formed, it slowly moves up through pores in the rocks. However in some cases, rocks without any pores leaves oil trapped underground. Oil is found in different parts of the world. The places where oil is extracted are called oil fields. More than half of the world’s oil is produced in the Middle East. To get to the oil, a company must first drill down to it. A rig is set up to support the drill. Then a well is drilled into the ground until the oil is reached. If the oilfield is in the sea, then offshore rigs are used. Watch this interesting video on how oil is formed from fossils which are compressed under the ocean floor. UK Shell Gas: Fracking Returns Amid Protests
In the pipeline this week: Just days after the two new wells in Lancashire were drilled, an injunction led by anti-fracking campaigners was lodged. The campaigners have been accused of a last-ditch attempt to delay the process. Elsewhere, there has been another revival of an old feud with the Saudis’ recent statement implying that they would use their petroleum wealth as a political tool. In other news, there are growing expectations that the APAC sector will experienced renewed growth due to an increased demand for Asian LNG. Lovegreen said the influx of activity has caused Bradford rentals to skyrocket, with an apartment that used to cost $500 or $600 a month now fetching closer to $2,500 or $3,000. The committee also was addressed by Chip McElwee, executive director of the Broome County Soil & Water Conservation District, who said the state's conservation districts are eager to provide assistance when large-scale gas development comes to New York. Natural Gas Fracking realities; but first a word on privatization and ponzi schemes
Your one stop shop for all things; "The Stench of Truth": http://www.thestenchoftruth.com Links to my radio show, listen to my radio shows, links to my blogs, articles and more! The Stench of Truth (527).mp4 I have a word for the idiots that call Medicare, one of the most successful Federal programs in history with very little overhead. a ponzi scheme. I have news for you idiots, private insurance is a ponzi scheme, that's why AIG failed. Is health more important than insuring a fucking derivative contract? A government program CANNOT GO BROKE OR BANKRUPT, like a private company can. They can back any program with their full faith and credit that any sovereign entity can. For those that want privatization just look at what happened to all of the 401k programs, now gone in bankruptcy. Fracking is a huge disaster waiting to happen but we should just accept the words of corporations that they are not poisoning our very future lives by contaminating our ground water that we need to LIVE. There are chemicals in the injection solution that they will not release the contents of but we should just trust them that it isn't deadly even though we know already that some of them are in fact deadly. They drill through the ground water, fracture the shale, siphon off the gas and release methane and all kind of environmental problems. And people talk or less regulation. Sure let's do it, kill ourselves quicker. Corporations do not care if they murder you because by the time it goes to court they will have raped as much profit as they can and the judgement if it comes will be a pittance. AND FRACKING CAUSES EARTHQUAKES.

NEW WORLD ORDER-WW3: Are Gas Pipelines Fuelling The World’s Bloodiest Conflict? 8 April 2017
Is This The Start Of World War III? That's What People Are Worried About... Syria, Russia and Iran all condemned the U.S. missile strike on a Syrian military base. Russia has suspended the "deconfliction agreement," which prevents U.S. fighter jets from coming into conflict with Russian jets in the region. USA TODAY. TWO NEW PIPELINES: Before the civil war, two competing pipelines put forward by Qatar and Iran aimed to transport gas to Europe through Syria... ***But Syrian President Bashar al Assad refused to give permission for the pipeline to go through his territory*** Qatar’s plans were first put forward in 2009 and involved building a pipeline from the Persian Gulf via Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and Turkey. The gas field located 3000 metres below the floor of the Persian Gulf is the largest natural gas field in the world. Qatar owns about two-thirds of the resource but can’t capitalise on it fully because it relies on tankers to deliver it to other countries and this makes its gas more expensive than Russia’s. It was hoped the pipeline would provide cheaper access to Europe but Syrian President Bashar al Assad refused to give permission for the pipeline to go through his territory. Some believe Russia pressured him to reject the pipeline to safeguard its own business. In the meantime Iran, which owns the other smaller, share of the Persian Gulf gas field, decided to lodge its own rival plan for a $10 billion pipeline to Europe via Iraq and Syria and then under the Mediterranean Sea. Assad signed off on the Iran plan in 2012 and it was due to be completed in 2016 but it was ultimately delayed because of the Arab Spring and the civil war. Many countries supporting or opposing the war against Assad have links to these pipeline plans. Failed pipeline bidder Qatar is believed to have funded anti-Assad rebel groups by $3 billion between 2011 and 2013. Saudi Arabia has also been accused of funding the terrorist group. In contrast Orenstein and Romer noted the successful pipeline bidder, Iran, was believed to be helping Assad by running the Syrian army, supplying it with weapons and even troops. link to news.com.au article: http://www.news.com.au/world/middle-east/russia-warns-of-inevitable-negative-consequences-following-us-air-strikes-on-syria/news-story/d181f26c14f8b183cda6e6cffcd21c8e link to usa today article: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2017/04/07/world-war-iii-twitter/100162584/ link to new york times article: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/06/world/middleeast/syria-bashar-al-assad-russia-sarin-attack.html?_r=0 link to bloomberg article: https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2017-04-05/qatar-s-bold-move-to-reassert-its-grip-on-natural-gas-market link to politicalforum.com: http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/is-the-fight-over-a-gas-pipeline-fuelling-the-world%E2%80%99s-bloodiest-conflict.501680/ More Videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/yarndy/videos ***PLEASE SUBSCRIBE*** Thanks for watching

Methane on Mars: potential origin and seepage - Giuseppe Etiope (SETI Talks 2016)
It is widely accepted that the occurrence of methane (CH4) in the Martian atmosphere may imply the presence of active geological sources, i.e. gas emission structures in the Martian soil and subsoil. In other words, gas seepage, a process well known on Earth, should exist on Mars. The concept of gas seepage, although obvious for many geologists, especially those working in gas geochemistry and petroleum geology, is ignored or poorly known by Mars methane science community. The seminar will offer a discussion on the fundamentals of seepage, its potential occurrence on Mars (via microseepage, mud volcanoes, faults, degassing from serpentinized rocks) and possible detection techniques. Basic concepts on potential methane origin on Mars (biotic vs abiotic) will be discussed and clarified, considering some confusion and misinterpretations in present literature. Giuseppe Etiopeis a senior researcher, geologist, at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia in Rome, Italy. He works on the origin, occurrence, and migration of gas in the geosphere, with particular reference to biotic hydrocarbons in sedimentary basins and abiotic gas in serpentinized ultramafic rocks. He studies the origin of methane, gas seepage phenomena and their implications for the environment, energy resource exploration and planetary geology (methane on Mars). He published 164 articles and a Springer’s book on “Natural Gas Seepage”. H index: 27 (Web of Science); 32 (Google Scholar).

Oil Drilling | Oil & Gas Animations
- Like our Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/oilvips - Geologists and geophysicists have agreed on the existence of a "prospect", a potential field. In order to find out if hydrocarbons are indeed trapped in the reservoir rock, we must drill to hit them. Bearing in mind the knowledge acquired about the substratum and the topography of the land, the best position for the installation of the drilling equipment is determined. Generally it is vertically above the point of maximum thickness of the geological layer suspected of containing hydrocarbons. The drillers then make a hole in conditions that are sometimes difficult. Of small diameter (from 20 to 50 cm) this hole will generally go down to a depth of between 2000 and 4000 meters. Exceptionally, certain wells exceed 6000 m. One of them has even exceeded 11 000 m! Certain fields can be buried at a depth equivalent to the height of 12 Eiffel Towers ... The derrick is the visible part of the drilling rig. It is a metal tower several tens of meters high. It is used to vertically introduce the drill strings down the hole. These drill strings are made up of metallic tubes screwed end to end. They transmit a rotating movement (rotary drilling) to the drilling tool (the drill bit) and help circulate a liquid called "mud" (because of its appearance) down to the bottom of the well. The drilling rig works like an enormous electric hand-drill of which the derrick would be the body, the drill strings the drive and the drilling tool the drill bit. The most usual tool is an assembly of three cones -- from which comes the name "tri cone" -- in very hard steel, which crushes the rock. Sometimes when the rock being drilled is very resistant, a single- block tool encrusted with diamonds is used. This wears down the rock by abrasion. Through the drill pipes, at the extremity of which the drill bit rotates, a special mud is injected, which the mud engineer prepares and controls. This mud cools the drill bit and consolidates the sides of the borehole. Moreover it avoids a gushing of oil, gas or water from the layer being drilled, by equilibrating the pressure. Finally, the mud cleans the bottom of the well. As it makes its way along the pipes, it carries the rock fragments (cuttings) to the surface. The geologist examines these cuttings to discover the characteristics of the rocks being drilled and to detect eventual shows of hydrocarbons. The cuttings, fragments of rock crushed by the drill bit, are brought back up to the surface by the mud. To obtain information on the characteristics of the rock being drilled, a core sample is taken. The drill bit is replaced by a hollow tool called a core sampler, which extracts a cylindrical sample of several meters of rock. This core supplies data on the nature of the rock, the inclination of the layers, the structure, permeability, porosity, fluid content and the fossils present. After having drilled a few hundred of meters, the explorers and drillers undertake measurements down the hole called loggings, by lowering electronic tools into the well to measure the physical parameters of the rock being drilled. These measures validate, or invalidate, or make more precise the hypotheses put forward earlier about the rocks and the fluids that they contain. The log engineer is responsible for the analysis of the results of the various loggings. The sides of the well are then reinforced by steel tubes screwed end to end. These tubes (called casings) are cemented into the ground. They isolate the various layers encountered. When hydrocarbons are found, and if the pressure is sufficient to allow them come to the surface naturally, the drillers do a flow check. The oil is allowed to come to the surface during several hours or several days through a calibrated hole. The quantity recovered is measured, as are the changes in pressure at the bottom of the well. In this way, a little more knowledge is gained about the probable productivity of the field. If the field seems promising, the exploration team ends the first discovery well and goes on to drill a second, even several others, several hundred or thousand meters further away. In this way, the exploration team is able to refine its knowledge about the characteristics of the field. The decision to stop drilling is made only when all these appraisal wells have provided sufficient information either to give up the exploration or to envisage future production. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Like our Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/oilvips Twitter: https://twitter.com/oilvips And Don't forget to subscribe to our channel

Ex-oil worker blasts shale gas industry / Ex-oil worker's concerns
Maxime Daigle worked in the oil industry for seven years but is now protesting against further development of the shale gas sector See also "Say No to Shale Gas June 30, 2011, Rexton, New Brunswick, Part 2"- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRYHCYS18tQ#t=1m44s http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/story/2011/12/01/nb-daigle-shale-gas-concern-913.html Ex-oil worker blasts shale gas industry CBC News Posted: Dec 2, 2011 7:00 AM AT Last Updated: Dec 2, 2011 2:36 PM AT Maxime Daigle worked on oil and gas rigs for seven years before quitting to devote his life to protesting what he believes are the perils of shale gas drilling. Daigle spent his career in the oil and gas sector working in operations located in Alberta, British Columbia and across the United States. He started as a roughneck and worked his way up to drilling foreman. But he soon concluded the world's dependency on oil was killing the planet and he left the industry. "We all have our hands dirty on it. It's just an awakening I went through that made me realize what I was doing was wrong and that I needed to try and make a difference," he said. So Daigle moved back home to New Brunswick and went back to school to study electrical engineering with a focus on renewable energy. Daigle is one of the many citizens that are speaking out over fears about the shale gas industry. There are nine companies that currently have 71 different leases to explore for shale gas. While the industry is in its infancy, it has turned into a high-profile political issue for Premier David Alward's government. The Progressive Conservative government ushered in a new set of regulations in the summer that were intended to quiet the growing chorus of criticism against the industry. Instead, there were more protests and some mining companies faced blockades from citizens unhappy with their presence. The Alward government has promised that it will bring in a new Environmental Protection Plan in the spring. And Alward has committed, that if the shale gas industry is to have a future in New Brunswick, the provincial government will ensure it enforces the strictest regulations on the continent. Regulations are not enough But tough regulations are going to help save rural landscapes from mining problems, according to Daigle. "Some rig managers will make you contain contamination and pick up everything at the surface. But I've seen many times where you're told just to cover it with dirt, fresh dirt so nobody sees it," he said. The former oil and gas worker said he saw the negative impact that drilling was having on the environment as he moved higher up the corporate ladder. "I've seen enough that I know a fair amount of what can and can't be done right with regulations," he said. Daigle also tells a story about a time when a crew he was working with hit an abnormally large gas pocket that nearly blew up the well. He said the crew pumped thousands of barrels of toxic drilling fluid down the well in an effort to contain it. However, that fluid found its way back to the surface through an unforeseen fracture. "After four or five days of doing this, these farmers came on location. And they asked what was that black stuff that was coming into the river," Daigle said. "And when we were wondering why we couldn't regain circulation of that well, this was the reason. Everything was going up into the river." Environmental concerns Daigle's concerns aren't new. Many opponents to shale gas wells have often pointed to high-profile problems in the United States where local water wells were contaminated or there was an upward spike in air pollution. Those criticisms aren't being met without resistance from the natural gas industry. Three shale gas executives and one industry official wrote in separate opinion articles this week for CBC News that protecting the environment is a top priority for them. Two companies -- Corridor Resources and Contact Exploration -- have track records of working in New Brunswick. And SWN Resources Canada, which is currently examining results from recent seismic tests, has said it will not attempt to extract shale gas if it cannot protect the environment. Some in the scientific community have also downplayed some of the concerns raised by the anti-shale gas protesters. Adrian Park, a geologist at the University of New Brunswick, has said problems won't come about if shale gas mining is done the right way. Park said he believes the industry can mine for shale gas and protect the environment, if the proper regulations are in place. "Once you go more than 200 metres down, the pressure caused by the weight of overlying rock actually seals natural fissures and fractures and if you're hydro-fracking deeper than that, then that natural permeable barrier should protect your surface water," he said.

4 Things They Forgot to Tell You In Driving School
How to become a better driver? Even the most experienced drivers don’t always know all the subtleties or nuances that can make driving easier. And most of them are convinced that if they know all the rules of the road, they’ll be ready for any situation that may occur. However, besides these rules, there are others that are no less important. And if you don't follow them, you may get seriously hurt even in a minor accident! Do you know how to figure out if your vehicle’s brake pipes are in good condition? Or why you shouldn't lift your whole foot off the floor when you switch from one pedal to another? Or how to wear your seat belt properly? Well, these things are really worth knowing! TIMESTAMPS: How to adjust your seat properly 0:58 How to check the brake pipes 5:32 How to wear your seat belt properly 6:57 How to switch from one pedal to another properly 8:13 #autos #cardriving #car Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - When you're in the driver's seat, your knees should be slightly bent. If you feel that you need to stretch your leg to reach the gas pedal, move your seat forward. - Your seat should be positioned in such a way that your hips are at the same level as your knees. If you can't clearly see out of all the windows or through the windshield, raise your seat. - The backrest should be reclined at about a 100-degree angle. This is the most comfortable position for your body. - The best way to hold the steering wheel is at 9 and 3. You know, this is when you imagine that your steering wheel is the face of a clock. Put your left hand where the 9 would be on the clock, and your right hand goes on the 3. - You should constantly keep an eye on the state of your brake pipes and brake pads. Even the tiniest crack on a brake hose can result in an accident because you won’t be able to stop the car. - To figure out if your vehicle’s brake pipes are in good condition, touch them. If they’re hard and crack when you try to bend them, they need replacing. - You should also remember that your foot typically stays on the heel when you position it over the accelerator. But when you move it over to the brake pedal, your heel may not be able to touch the floor. - The top strap should cross your chest and collarbone, and the lower strap should go across your hips. Do NOT place it over your belly. - If your car’s seat belts aren’t adjustable, you can always slide the seat further up or back. If nothing helps, get a padded belt cover. Fracking Friction - 3.6.2011
energyNOW! Spotlight: Fracking controversy The New York Times this week put hydraulic fracturing on the front natural-gas burner of American households by running the first of several articles in an investigative series. This drilling technique could unlock 100 years' supply of a lower-carbon and domestic energy source that is broadly considered to be necessary. But the Times' months-long dive through 30,000 previously unreleased documents also suggests that industry and government have failed to ensure health and environmental safety keep pace with the industry's explosive growth. Ian Urbina, the Times reporter who uncovered the document cache and penned the series, sits down with energyNOW! to explain water contamination concerns raised by the natural gas boom - and the government's questionable record of monitoring water for toxins and radioactivity. Industry spokespeople maintain that most fracking wastewater is reused, and sets as its goal "100 percent recycling, zero discharge" of produced water. Scientists diverge on whether or how drilling is linked to water contamination concerns, and how to accurately test water. The Mix: Federal Government's Role in Fracking Safety The controversy over hydraulic fracturing has spilled into the halls of Congress. Republican lawmakers have urged state-level oversight and industry self-regulation to preserve jobs and energy independence. Democratic legislators called for increased industry oversight and regulation to protect health and the environment. energyNOW! anchor Thalia Assuras moderates a heated debate between Congressmen Rush Holt (D-NJ) and Michael Burgess (R-TX) about the government's role in regulating shale gas development, water safety and environmental health. Burgess' district rests on Texas' Barnett Shale, which led the way for U.S. shale development. Holt represents central New Jersey and is deeply involved in energy and environmental issues. Each district has a distinct geology and each legislator has ...

Are electric cars really green? An investigation of Bjorn Lomborg's claims.
CORRECTIONS: 11:30 -- Estonia's electricity is not mostly coal-powered, it is mostly oil-shale powered. They both produce large amounts of CO2, so the point is the same. The result is that electric cars powered by the Estonian grid are much less green than in France. The photo of the 'lithium mine' is a diamond mine, according to National Geographic. A real lithium mine in Western Australia looks almost identical: www.wattelectricalnews.com/NEWS/Lithium-Mining-Delivers-BIG-for-WA,-Increased-Spodumene-Production/46120 SOURCES ARE BELOW If you would like to support this channel financially, I don't need the money. I make these videos if people donate to a charity I strongly endorse called Health in Harmony. It’s building clinics in Borneo that provide affordable health care to villages in return for a pledge not to cut down trees. The pledges are monitored, and the result is a dramatic decrease in deforestation rates and an increase in the health of the local population. Piedmont Natural Gas Week of Giving 2011 Days 3 & 4 - Jacob's Ladder, YWCA & Crisis Assistance
Piedmont Natural Gas is celebrating the 2011 holiday season with a Week of Giving, beginning Monday, December 5. During this weeklong celebration, Piedmont employees are volunteering at and collecting items for seven nonprofit organizations in the Charlotte area, as well as encouraging everyone in community to join in giving back to those who may be struggling during the holiday season. Piedmont began a collection drive for Jacob's Ladder Job Center on the third day of the Week of Giving. Gracious donors contributed articles of clothing for Jacob's Ladder to provide to unemployed or underemployed members of our community who may need a helping hand during their job search. On the fourth day, Piedmont volunteers assembled gift bags for people in the YWCA Central Carolinas' Women in Transition and Families Together programs, to help them out in their time of need. Volunteers also helped sort items at Crisis Assistance Ministry's free store, which provides good-quality clothes and household items to people free of charge, allowing them to spend their money on other basic essentials. Goldfish Gladiators: Esper Quasi-Vampires (Standard, Magic Arena)
Next week, we'll start exploring sweet new Ravnica Allegiance decks, but since the set was just released on Magic Arena today, we're playing old Standard today. The good news is that our deck is sweet and features one of my favorite cards from Guilds of Ravnica: Quasiduplicate. While we've played Quasiduplicate decks in the past, today's deck is different. Rather than just smashing together a bunch of value creatures, we're playing a full-on Vampire tribal deck, with Quasiduplicate being sort of a finisher. Oddly, Vampires happen to have a lot of creatures that are really good when copied, which makes the tribe a natural fit for the cloning sorcery. Can a mashup of Vampires and Quasiduplicate compete in Standard on Magic Arena? Let's get to the video and find out! ► Read more about this deck (full article): https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/goldfish-gladiators-esper-quasi-vampires-standard-magic-arena ► View this deck with the latest prices: https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/1549907#paper ◼ Purchase this deck (paper): http://mtg.fish/gA0eD ◼ Purchase this deck (Magic Online): http://mtg.fish/hFfZC Games: 7:13

Manteo - The hottest property in the North Atlantic?
The Manteo Prospect, roughly 40 miles off the coast of North Carolina, has the potential to contain vast quantities of hydrocarbons. With the USA's political stance on drilling in the Atlantic changing, could the Manteo unit become the hottest property in the North Atlantic? Trove databases capture technical subsurface data for oilfields, gasfields, discoveries and prospects in geologic basins/countries. Theses data are designed for geologists/geophysicists/reservoir engineers & commercial personnel (business development managers etc) in oil & gas exploration & production companies. Russian Chinese Energy Agreement
http://www.profitableinvestingtips.com/investing-trading/russian-chinese-energy-agreement Russian Chinese Energy Agreement By www.ProfitableInvestingTips.com The new Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, signed a Russian Chinese energy agreement set to provide the still-growing Chinese economy with oil and natural gas for years to come. China has worked hard to secure sources of energy for its economy for years. The thriving Chinese economy and large cash reserves have been indispensable in the success of these efforts. The most recent Russian Chinese energy agreement links the first place producer of oil and natural gas with the fastest growing consumer of energy. The Russian Chinese energy agreement also secures for Russia a larger share of the Chinese market, reducing Russia's reliance on Europe as their main consumer. Although the fundamental analysis of related investment opportunities may be tricky in Russia and China due to poor transparency, there may still be the ability to make a profit for those who pay attention. Cash Flow from West to East Think of it this way. China sells products to Europe and North America, and the rest of the world. China runs a big trade surplus. China spends its money on a big Russian Chinese energy agreement. China takes energy supplies away from Europe. In addition, the Russian Chinese energy agreement includes joint oil exploration efforts offshore from Russia. Price, Always Price According to press reports, all is not well with the Russian Chinese energy agreement. There are smaller nations across the globe where China can gain oil, natural gas, and other resources a bargain basement prices in return for loans and foreign aid. However, Russia still has a larger economy to sell energy products to, Europe. According to press releases the Russian Chinese energy agreement has been agreed upon in its general terms. But, price is still an issue and not all projects may come to completion as the old communist allies haggle over price like the capitalists that they have become. Just Two BRICS out of Five The shape of the world to come is changing. Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are collectively known as the BRICS nations. They have strong and growing economies that are expected to eventually reach the level of both Europe and North America. Gone are the days when first the Europeans and then the Americans dictated terms for economic agreements across the globe. In both of our articles, Three Good Offshore Investment Ideas and Investing in Foreign Stocks, we noted the opportunities of investing offshore. The new Russian Chinese energy agreement is only one example of economic activity and investment opportunity outside of North America. The fundamental issue in investing in these situations is learning and understanding the fundamentals. Because many investors do not speak Russian or Chinese, it is often more efficient and profitable to invest in Western companies that do business in these regions of the world or to invest in foreign stocks listed as American Depository Receipts on US stock exchanges. Such investments can be directly related to big news issues such as the Russian Chinese energy agreements or more often related to the rise of a significant middle class in China, Russia, India, Brazil, and South Africa.
