You did an amazing job retouching and finishing the image and, not only is the client happy (maybe ecstatic!), but their client is even happier. If you’re a wedding shooter, the whole family loves you! Now they call to do additional licensing or make a huge print. They love you so much they want to make sure you are compensated well for the added use or for the print. You're thrilled, but when you look for the image, but you can’t find it. Where did it go? What did you name it? What folder did you put it in? Excellent, you forgot what you called it or didn’t store it properly. It’s buried in a pile of unorganized hard drives with a generic file name that the camera gave it. In a matter of seconds you go from being so thrilled about making some easy money to spending two whole days looking for the file. In the worst case, you lost the file because it was not Archived correctly. You vow to never let this happen again! Watch the video and use this File Naming System to save you from hours of headaches and panic. Don't let this happen to you again. I really wanted to share this talk about trusting employees, giving them trust and then learning how they operate from there rather than the traditional "trust is earned" stance. Also, for anyone that is confused, because I'm a very alpha character and I believe that the new "man" is growing in emotional intelligence and "soft skills". Kindness, empathy, and gratitude, which were once considered "soft" are now becoming cool. — Original Version: https://youtu.be/lYQKT58ZkXc — I’m so excited to share my Curse Free Youtube page with you and am just humbled by the love and support I have received from everyone. Explanation of how an OCD afflicted brain causes irrational and unhealthy behaviors & A method for treating it. ▲Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/WILearned ▲Twitter: https://twitter.com/jeverettlearned ( Bitcoin Donations: 1G8K61AS6bytBUcqNzzag7xuo6XJ6SCU7J ) The content in this video primarily comes from Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz's book "Brain Lock." It was very refreshing to come across a clear explanation of how a mental illness works in terms of physiology rather than psychology. Then I thought it quite remarkable that, as illustrated in the book, by simply changing their mindset and behavior, people can physically change their brain for the better. (As is evidenced by brain scans taken after Dr. Schwartz's treatment) OCD is a complex disease and this video doesn't intend to be an exhaustive explanation of it. If you do have OCD it would definitely be worth your time to check out the Brain Lock book: ( http://amzn.to/2m8g7z3 ) For those without OCD, I recommend checking out Dr. Schwartz's book "You are not Your Brain" which presents a unique approach for stopping bad habits based on understanding how the brain works ( http://amzn.to/2lvXDpa ) Also mentioned in the video is Norman Doidge's "The Brain that Changes Itself" which is all about the brain's impressive ability to drastically modify itself via neuroplasticity. While it doesn't introduce a specific method or techniques, it's an interesting read with a lot of useful information: ( http://amzn.to/2m8BPmL )

In these contemporary times, we are living longer than ever. This is due to the great innovations in the medical field. Before, something as simple as a cold would have killed us. Now? It’s just an inconvenience that lasts just a week or so. Vaccines, and other amazing innovations have made living longer better than ever. Now that we are living longer, our priorities of living have changed. Before, when life ended around 30, people were getting married and having children in their teens and never bothered with anything more. Today, people are going to college and managing their careers, ensuring that they are financially stable before starting a family. This has led to people starting their families much later, thanks to the ability of living a longer life. Today, people are living to be well over 100 years old and living longer than a century. The stories that these people tell could write dozens of books. As time goes on, we will likely start seeing more people pushing the limits of longer living. But for now, the people in this video have set records and pushed the envelope as they have gained a sense of immortality because they have lived longer than any of us so far. Some of these people’s stories are inspiring as they have survived incredible odds that should have killed them, but instead, they are the living symbol of resilience. Tony Robbins: Overcome Your Negative Emotions (Tony Robbins Depression) Overcoming Negative Emotions and Boosting Motivation A negative emotional state can really ruin your day. Prolonged stress, depression, or anger are clearly not conducive to high levels of performance. And the worst part is that these emotional states tend to be self-perpetuating. Working while overly stressed can lead to even more stress. Depression and worry can cause you to avoid taking the kinds of actions that will help you escape the pit of negativity. And anger can lead you to take unproductive actions you may later regret. While emotional variety can spice up your life, hopefully you’ll agree that remaining stuck in a prolonged negative emotional state is something to be avoided. So if you find yourself in one of these states, what can you do to boost your motivation and keep it high? Each and every one of the so called negative or limiting emotions that we experience on a daily basis can actually serve us and provide us with the necessary guidance we need to make more effective decisions throughout the day. As such, it’s absolutely paramount that we take the time to learn to understand how to interpret our emotions in ways that will help us find answers and solutions, not problems and difficulties. Within this summary I would like to provide you with all the necessary knowledge you need to help you manage and interpret your emotions far more effectively throughout the day. We will first take a look at different types of so called “limiting” emotions that we experience on a daily basis and attempt to see them from a new, unique and helpful perspective. We will also break down a process you can work-through to help you transform your emotional state — providing you with the leverage you need to effectively manage your emotional state on a daily basis in ways that helps serve your purposes and objectives. *CREDIT Tony Robbins Visit Tony Robbins' websites: https://www.tonyrobbins.com/ http://www.unshakeable.com/ Follow Tony Robbins @: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TonyRobbins Twitter: https://twitter.com/tonyrobbins LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ajrobbins Google+: https://plus.google.com/+TonyRobbins Instagram: https://instagram.com/tonyrobbins/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/TonyRobbinsLive FAIR-USE COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER * Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, commenting, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Muslim women in Sri Lanka will not be allowed to wear any form of face veils in public from Monday under new regulations announced by President Maithripala Sirisena who used emergency powers in the wake of the Easter Sunday bombings. The new regulation banning any form of face covering was announced by the President on Sunday, a week after the coordinated blasts hit three churches and three luxury hotels, killing over 250 people and injuring more than 500 others. "The ban is to ensure national security... No one should obscure their faces to make identification difficult," the President's office said in a statement. Meanwhile, The Catholic Church in Sri Lanka said Monday that the government should crack down on Islamic extremists with more vigor “as if on war footing” in the aftermath of the Easter bombings. Back in India, the National Investigative agency on Sunday carried out raids at three places in Kerala in connection with the Islamic State Kasaragod module case. Three suspects were questioned by the investigative agency in the aftermath of the bombings in Sri Lanka. On this edition of the big picture we will analyse the crackdown in Sri Lanka post the Easter Sunday bombings. Simplest way to remove and fix harsh shadows from portraits in Photoshop by utilizing the fundamental concepts of blend modes and channels. Without making any precise selections, learn how to handle portraits with harsh lighting conditions and get rid of the annoying shadows. ► DOWNLOADS: 1. Sample Images: https://goo.gl/pZoyeQ 2. Simply, a dark area, right? Now, is there any way to make a selection of dark areas? Yes! In this tutorial, we will first use the RGB Channel to make a selection based on "luminosity". Which means, the brighter areas will be selected and the darker areas won't be selected. However, since we want to modify just the opposite (i.e. dark areas), we will invert the selection. Then, putting only the dark areas on its own layer, we'll change its blend mode to "screen". Remember, "Screen" is a blend mode which brightens up stuff! And therefore, that should do the trick! However, there might be situations where the shadows may turn out to be faded or you might observe some color shifts. We'll also discuss what to do then. I have enough examples to get that covered. Hope this video helps you. ► SHARE: https://goo.gl/IUhnUl ►LET'S CONNECT: Facebook: http://facebook.com/piximperfect Twitter: https://twitter.com/piximperfect Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/piximperfect Google+: https://plus.google.com/+UnmeshDinda

How to Survive Natural Disasters. Here’s a list of survival tips that can save your life in an emergency. We live in a time when natural disasters occur more and more often and get more and more devastating. Many of us believe we should blame the human race for that. Whether it’s true or not, we all want to know how to survive when those disasters happen. Some rules are universal for most natural disasters. A national campaign called Ready was started in the United States to inform the population about how to get ready for and survive in different emergency situations. It recommends having a basic survival kit to provide you with the most important things just in case. Remember you will need to have enough food, water, and other supplies for at least 72 hours after the disaster. “Other supplies” include a battery powered weather radio, flashlight, first aid kit, a whistle, a dust mask, personal sanitation items (such as moist towelettes), pliers, can opener for food, maps of your area and an emergency cell phone with backup batteries. TIMESTAMPS Hurricane 0:40 Tornado 1:45 Tsunami 3:15 Flood 4:10 Avalanche 5:03 Wildfire 6:00 Earthquake 7:00 SUMMARY - If a hurricane starts while you are driving, leave your vehicle and find a building to shelter in, or a ditch. Stopping in an overpass will not save you. If your home is a trailer and there is enough time to flee to a safe area – do it. - If a tornado starts when you are in a public building, follow the same rules. You want to stay as low as possible. Avoid windows and open spaces such as auditoriums, gyms, and large hallways. Desks and benches can give you some extra protection if you get under them. It is impossible to outrun a tornado. - Tsunamis are so fast they hit the coast minutes after the earthquake. Remember that tall buildings, including hotels right in the beach area, can provide an excellent shelter. In case a tsunami finds you at sea, stay there instead of going back to the coast. It won’t be a safe haven. - Don’t try to be the bravest person around and stay in your house once you hear the evacuation warning. Leave for safety in higher grounds with your important papers in a waterproof container. If a flash flood gives you no time to evacuate and the water is all around you, don’t try to swim across it. - When an avalanche starts, try to move to the side of the slope as fast as you can. There will be more snow in the center of the flow. To move faster, drop any heavy equipment you have on you. If you can’t escape it, try using a sturdy tree to keep you above the snow. - If you find yourself in a wildfire area, it is critically important to ensure that you can breathe. If you fail to do it, you can pass out in the midst of a danger zone. Use a wet cloth to cover your nose and mouth and escape to safety. - If an earthquake starts when you are inside, stay where you were. Experts say that during an earthquake you must drop to the floor, get underneath a table, cover your neck and head with one hand, and hold on with the other hand. Your entire body must be under the table. Don’t try to run out of the building - the exterior of a building is one of the most dangerous places. Order my book today! ARE U OK? http://geni.us/sva4iUY Let’s define what Borderline Personality Disorder (or BPD) really is, and what it can mean for those in relationship with someone who has it. Now BPD is a mental illness marked by an ongoing pattern of varying moods, self-image, and behavior. These symptoms often result in impulsive actions and problems in relationships. Some of the symptoms I am talking about are: Intense fear of rejection, separation, or abandonment - Rapid changes between thinking someone is perfect to believing they are evil - Risky behaviors including unsafe sex, gambling, drug use, or accumulating credit card debt - Threats of suicide or self-harm - Difficulty empathizing with other people - Mood swings from euphoria to intense shame or self-criticism - and frequently losing one’s temper. People with borderline personality disorder tend to view things in extremes, such as all good or all bad. Their opinions of other people can also change quickly. An individual who is seen as a friend one day may be considered an enemy or traitor the next. My BPD Vid: https://youtu.be/zPopjuKuweg Book links: https://goo.gl/sGnTU2 https://goo.gl/QWRVew Ways to manage a relationship with someone with BPD: 1. Learn about Borderline Personality Disorder. How can we manage something we don’t even understand? We can’t! 2. Trying to keep your home life with them as calm and relaxed as possible. Those with BPD do really well in situations that are predictable, so keeping home life as upset free as possible is best, and can often mitigate any crisis they may be feeling. 3. Keeping it simple. Since those with BPD can be constantly reacting out of their emotion mind (meaning it’s not very logical or reasonable) it will be hard for them to actually hear and understand what you are saying without getting upset and lashing back at you. 4. Creating and upholding healthy boundaries. Those with BPD need boundaries. Setting a boundary can sometimes snap them out of their delusional thinking. 5. Next, calling their bluff also is helpful. Creating boundaries and calling their bluff both require that you build up their self-esteem first. Meaning that you can’t enter a relationship with them calling them on all their shit, and telling them they are crossing a boundary. 6. Take their suicide or self injury threats seriously. 7. Encourage them to seek therapy. Unlike other diagnosis, most BPD people welcome the idea of therapy. I believe this is because they are uncomfortable with how they feel, and would love to find a way to make it stop. Which is why there is hope, and many people with BPD do fully recover, so supporting them in these efforts can be great for your lasting relationship. 8. Get outside emotional support. We all need this in relationships, but especially if we are trying to remain calm and supportive maybe when we don’t feel like it at all. Having other friends and family members we can lean on when we need it. Make time for that as well as some regular self care. Hosting your applications inside of Linux containers gives you more speed and flexibility than running them in VMs, but those containers still need proper configuration management. Most people choose something that goes beyond simple shell scripts. Docker’s Dockerfile has some characteristics of infrastructure as code but, deep down, it still defines actions to be taken as shell commands. For systems administrators and developers who want to migrate their existing application stack to containers, the prospect of rewriting all their infrastructure code for application stacks they may not fully understand can be daunting. This webinar shows how chef-container provides a consistent configuration management experience across container solutions.

Updated version of this video https://youtu.be/etAW892xONw When dragging and dropping images into a word document I used to format each individual one to the correct size and position. When continuing to type these images would become distorted, disappear, or be cut in half across the page...extremely frustrating... However.... This videos shows you how to drag and drop images into a word document without the images exploding across the page and nudging all your typing where you don't want it. This method allows you to easily control the size of the images particularly when inserting a number of images into one document. Purchase Microsoft Office for PC here - https://amzn.to/2L4FM7K I may earn a small commission from my endorsements, recommendations, testimonials and/or link to any products or services from this website. First, insert a table from the ‘table’ icon in the ‘INSERT’ tab. Your table can contain as many rows and columns as you want, but remember this will dictate how many images will be displayed on your page. At this stage you can adjust the margins if you need the images closer to the edge of your page. If your table doesn’t adjust to the margin change, just delete it and re-insert it (that’s why you should do it at this stage). It’s now time to adjust the size of your table cells to fit your images into. Select the table by clicking and dragging your cursor across the whole table or clicking the square at the top left corner of the table. In TABLE TOOL under the ‘Layout’ tab you will see the width and height boxes and it’s here you can enter your chosen sizes. You will need to play around with these measurements to suit your requirements. Once you have created the perfect table to insert images you can now remove the borders and only leave a faint dotted line that won’t appear when printed or saved as a PDF. To achieve this highlight the table as before and in the HOME tab click on ‘borders’ and a drop down menu will appear with border options, click on ‘no borders’. If your border completely disappear click on the same border tab again and go to the bottom and click on ‘show gridlines’. You should now see a faint border lines. Now this is where the crucial part takes place. You have to tell Word NOT TO MOVE THE TABLE BORDERS AND SET THEM IN STONE….RIGID….WITHOUT MOVING. Highlight the table once again, go to TALE TOOLS – LAYOUT and click on ‘Autofit’ and simply click on ‘fixed column width’. This will fix the width of your columns, but WAIT, we’re not finished just yet, we have to fix the height in place. To do this we need to once again make sure the table is highlighted and right click anywhere on the table. A drop-down menu will now appear, scroll down to TABLE PROPERTIES, you will now see a dialogue box, click on the ‘columns’ tab and where is says ‘row height is’ and a dialogue box saying ‘at least’, click on the down arrow to the right and you should see the option to click ‘exactly’ (this is the little magic button). Click on this option and click OK. Your table is now pinned in place and the cells are not going to budge when you insert your images. It’s not time to insert those images. Simply drag and drop your images into the word document. Drop the images one at a time into each cell and they will automatically resize to fit the cell. If you find the image is too small you will have to crop the image to fit the dimensions of your cells. In order to CENTRE your images you simply highlight the table and check the ‘centre’ icon under the HOME table. Is it looking good? I you need to split your table so you can insert some text or simply separate the rows, click on the row BELOW the split, go to TABLE TOOLS – LAYOUT and the click on ‘split table’. EASY!! Before I discovered this method of dragging and dropping images into word I was spending endless hours trying to correct the images, the sizes and where they landed on the page. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. It was part of my business, so giving up so much time to formatting documents meant my income per hour was dwindling and the bigger the project the more time I spent. Once I figured out this method it was such a relief, in fact I think I may have jumped for joy!!! I then made template for my projects with formatted tables ready to go.

My name is Rebecca, and in today's lesson you'll learn how to participate effectively in a discussion in English, something you may need to do in your personal, professional, or academic life, okay? Now, the topic we'll use as our sample is this one: Is it better to study online or in a regular classroom? Okay? You'll have a chance to hear a discussion by native English speakers on this topic. What I'd like you to do is listen for any special expressions and phrases that they use during the discussion. Afterwards, I'll review the expressions and phrases with you, okay? Now, today I have some special friends who have agreed to help me with this lesson, and they're waiting in the classroom next door, so let's go and say hello to them. -- Hello! -- Hello! -- Hi! -- Hi! -- Well, look who's here. It's -- -- Ronnie. -- Alex. -- James. -- Adam. -- Thank you for joining me, and thanks for helping with this lesson, guys. -- No problem. -- No problem. -- So you know we're talking about discussions, and the topic is: Is it better to study online or in a regular classroom? Okay, who wants to go first? -- Okay, so I'll start, and I think that it's actually very good to study online because it's very convenient because you can study whenever you want and at your own pace. For example, someone like me, I like to study at nighttime. So for me, online works better because it's quiet at night, no one disturbs me, and I can do what I need to do. -- Okay, that's true, but if you're going to study online -- -- Sorry, but -- -- Please let me finish. Let me finish. As I was saying, that's true, but if you're studying online you do need to motivate yourself, so I think it's better to be in a classroom where you have other students and a teacher who can motivate you. -- That's true, but some people can't afford to go to a classroom and don't have enough money or resources to actually go to a big school. So studying online, you can actually do it for free. -- Me? Well, I would like to add -- May I say something? -- Sure. -- Soft skills. That's not usually talked about in schools, but when we talk about "soft skills", it's actual interaction, utilizing your English when you're with other people, and that's hard to get online because you're watching a screen and not actually interacting with other people. -- You make a very good point but I would also like to add that sometimes having classmates takes you away from your focus because you have to maybe review things many times for other people to catch up, or you have to do topics that are interesting to other people, not to yourself. So it's a little distracting sometimes, too. -- However, focus is a good thing. I mean, it's not a bad thing to repeat something because sometimes people don't catch the material the first time. So that way, you go over the material, and they -- you know, you get depth. So you get to learn more, and people who don't understand get the opportunity to ask questions and learn from it again. -- Yeah, but sometimes the resources that you get in a classroom are boring, and online you can just look up whatever you need on the Internet, and you've got it right there. You don't have to rely on a textbook. Sometimes it can be a bad textbook.

How to save up money easily for a house or for a new car? Learn a genius hack on how to save more money each month. As a bonus, we'll tell teach you how to safely hide your cash. "If only I could stop spending money on stuff I don’t need, I would buy so many useful things!" Have you ever thought this? Then this video is just for you. RULE 1: Subtract the last digit from each number to get a zero at the end. It’s easier to “zero out” cash into a piggy bank, and you may use a savings account or any other bank account to transfer the money from your card. RULE 2: Save everything that’s left over before payday — "zero out" one more time at the end of the month. For instance, you still have $300 in cash and $1,000 in the bank — just move it to your savings account. TIMESTAMPS «Zero out» your money every evening 0:31 Move any unspent money to your saving account 1:46 What are the advantages of this simple method? 2:05 The worst places to hide your cash: In the backyard 2:41 Under your mattress 2:58 In shopping bags 3:13 In old wallets and handbags 3:27 In laundry baskets 3:40 Behind a picture or photo in a frame 3:58 In safes that are not bolted down 4:13 In drawers and cabinets 4:34 Where to hide your money 4:53 SUMMARY If you feel like you have run out of places to hide your money, try the following suggestions: • Wrap your money in a plastic bag, and tape it to the bottom of the kitchen counter or to the bottom of your kid’s toy box (the best option is to create a false bottom in it). • In a waterproof container stored in the lowest drawer of your refrigerator or freezer. Make sure it doesn’t read "Ice cream" or something else yummy thieves might want to try. • Hide your savings among buttons, threads, and other sewing accessories. Unless thieves suddenly need to sew something, they most probably won’t look for your money in there. • In a pair of old shoes, clothes, or maybe in an old computer that no longer works. Make sure it all looks like junk you have not disposed of yet.
