HCG + Clomid as Options for Low T treatment

10:21
Many guys do not know about the option to use HCG and Clomid (clomiphene) for boosting testosterone. Not everyone wants to be on testosterone replacement the rest of their lives. I encourage all of my patients to try to come off of testosterone replacement. It is always best if your body makes its own testosterone! Testosterone options: 1) Fix underlying cause to produce your own testosterone. 2) Boost testosterone production with Clomid and/or HCG. 3) Replace testosterone with shots, pellets, dissolving tablets, or creams. Continue working on your body to restore testosterone production by: -Reducing inflammation by healing your gut and microbiome disturbances (see my other videos) -Reducing toxin exposure -Improving detoxification pathways If you would like to be evaluated for the treatment of low testosterone, contact my office: 512-829-1104 [email protected]

I Noah Thomas, the creator of this channel, have been diagnosed hypogonadism by a medical doctor and legally prescribed the medically indicated treatment of Testosterone Replacement Therapy. My Story My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a medication called VIVITROL and consequently, spiraled into a suicidal depression with depersonalization and anxiety. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who, along with many siblings and friends, had to watch me 24/7 as I was a danger to myself. Eventually I was hospitalized in the Psych Ward for a week. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different doctor prescribed SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, mood stabilizers, anti-psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I had an explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started legally prescribed testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 6 years, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Treating my low testosterone has been 1 HUGE part of the puzzle but I have had to continue to work hard to hold on to my mental stability with many set backs. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and Pamelor. Low testosterone: symptoms, diagnosis and treatment | Ohio State Medical Center

03:19
Low testosterone or "low T" most commonly affects men in their 50s or older. While testosterone naturally decreases with age, it may also happen with certain diseases or conditions. Testosterone is the male sex hormone that not only affects sexual drive, but also affects bone density, heart health, insulin control and metabolism. Lawrence Jenkins, MD, a urologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, explains the symptoms and treatment options. Men with low T may have poor energy, difficulty sleeping, reduced endurance and productivity, irritability, depression, confusion and short-term memory loss. Diagnosis requires a blood test and depending on results, the patient may be given a gel, patch, injection or pellets under the skin to replace testosterone. Another option is a pill that essentially tricks the body into making more testosterone. To avoid unnecessary or expensive treatment, Dr. Jenkins urges men to see a medical doctor rather than turning to herbal remedies, over the counter pills or injections to treat their low T. Testosterone Trouble- Men Getting their Groove Back

02:03
Low T, or low testosterone, is sometimes called male menopause. "When you are young you have high levels and as you age those levels gradually decrease but it can lead to a lot of symptoms and side effects," says Dr. James Borden, urologist with Lee Memorial Health System's medical staff. In the same way aging women produce less estrogen and progesterone, men see a drop in their testosterone. "Symptoms can be fatigue, decrease sexual desire, generalize muscle weakness, weak bones; it can also lead to cardiac disease and diabetes. Weight gain can also be a side effect of low testosterone," says Dr. Borden. No one knows it better than Charlie Lotze. "I got it all, I got the fatigue. I couldn't get enough sleep. I started getting this and I'm naturally thin," says Charlie Lotze, low T patient. Twenty years ago his doctor found he wasn't making any testosterone at all. It was affecting his bones. "He said I got the feeling your bone scan is going to be the same situation because you're short that much in that hormone. And he said you're below everything, right on the bottom of the chart for your bone scan," says Lotze. Testosterone starts dropping when men are in their early 20s, but symptoms rarely appear until they hit their 40s or 50s. Often misdiagnosed and misunderstood, the medical community is now recognizing low T as a treatable condition. "In order to get replacement you either have to do it through injection, which has to be given every few weeks. The other option is a topical jell, you put it on the skin rub it on every day. Another option is to have a pellet put it, that's the newest development. Time release pellets that are planted under the skin and they are absorbed over period of months," says Dr. Borden. Implanted in the patient's backside, testosterone pellets last three to six months. Charlie is happy with his choice to go with pellets. And is ready to get on with life. "I hope to have another twenty years and make up for some of the time I've lost," says Lotze. Testosterone therapy, it's helping men with low T, get their groove back. Common Low Testosterone Symptoms.

03:38
How can I find Common Low Testosterone Symptoms? How to tell if I have low levels of testosterone. Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone and keeping the levels healthy can have a positive impact on your physical and mental well being. Testosterone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testosterone Testosterone is a hormone produced in the testicles in men. The sexual development of men is mainly dependent on testosterone levels. Sex drive, energy, and muscle mass are vast areas that are stricken due to hypogonadism. Typically if your levels fall below 300 nanograms per deciliter, you can be diagnosed as having low testosterone, and you should seek treatment. Low Sex Drive: Your libido (sex drive) can dive if you have low-t. Having a low sex drive is a significant problem and complaint by men suffering from low t levels. Hypogonadism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypogonadism Problems Getting Erections: A major sign of low t is difficulty getting and maintaining erections. Testosterone stimulates receptors in your brain to produce nitric oxide. Nitric oxide causes chemical reactions in your body to create a healthy and robust erection. Hair Loss: The production of your hair is dependent on levels of testosterone. Fatigue: Having low energy and high levels of fatigue are a significant factor associated with low t. If you are always sleepy and tired, you may want to start discussing a hormone replacement therapy program. Muscle Loss: Testosterone plays a big part in gaining and maintaining muscle. Men who suffer from androgen deficiency have a hard time keeping their muscle and strength. The loss of muscle and strength can also have adverse effects on your mental state. Decreased Bone Density: The thinning of the bones can lead to osteoporosis. Low t can decrease bone volume. Questions about low testosterone levels in men. What is the age when a man's testosterone levels drop? The levels of testosterone usually drop at about age 30 in men. What can cause a younger man to have low testosterone levels? Pituitary gland tumors can lower levels of testosterone, so could HIV, and radiation treatment or chemotherapy for cancer treatment. There are many warning signs you should watch so if you feel that you may suffer from low t so please contact your doctor as soon as possible. There are also supplements, injections, creams, and pills available. Treating Low T

02:00
Low testosterone is hitting men below the belt, leaving behind a negative effect on their physical and emotional health. "When you are young you have high levels and as you age those levels gradually decrease. But it can lead to a lot of symptoms and side effects. Symptoms can be fatigue, decreased sexual desire, generalized muscle weakness, weak bones. It can also lead to cardiac disease and diabetes," says Dr. James Borden, urologist with Lee Memorial Health System's medical staff. Weight gain is also associated with low t. Sometimes called hypogonadism, the sex glands produce little or no hormones. Low testosterone is a medical condition that can be confirmed with a blood test. "We check a testosterone level to determine if it's below normal. A testosterone level less than 200 definitely would be a low level. Not everyone has symptoms, so you have to match the symptoms with the level," says Dr. Borden. If levels are low and symptoms are high, doctors will often recommend hormone replacement. It can come in the form of injections, gels and implantable pellets. They work the same, delivering a steady dose of hormone. "You have to be on testosterone for three or four months before you actually can determine if your symptoms are better. So it's not an initial response. You may see some improvement right away, but to really know if it's going to work a trial of three or four months is preferable," says Dr. Borden. The FDA approved hormone replacement for men who meet the criteria, and should be carried out under a doctor's supervision. "You do have to monitor someone's blood count to make sure the red blood cell count does not go up. You should monitor someone for prostate cancer, although testosterone replacement doesn't cause prostate cancer, you want to make sure you don't stimulate something that was not visible before," says Dr. Borden. Low t isn't something men like to crow about, though many could benefit from therapy. "About 16 million men suffer from low testosterone but only 10% are receiving treatment, so it's really an under treated problem," says Dr. Borden View More Health Matters video segments at leememorial.org/healthmatters/ Lee Memorial Health System in Fort Myers, FL is the largest network of medical care facilities in Southwest Florida and is highly respected for its expertise, innovation and quality of care. Low Male Hormone Replacement with Testosterone

11:04
In this video, low testosterone replacement choices and costs offered by doctors is discussed. If your doctor calls you back to review a low testosterone serum level this video will help guide you through the methods we use for androgen replacement and their benefits and pitfalls helping you to make a better informed choice. Testosterone is an oily hormone manufactured by our bodies from cholesterol. It is responsible for expression of male characteristics such as deep voice, facial hair, muscle growth, libido, and aggression. It is also produced in females but in much smaller quantities than in males. As part of the aging process, males experience a slow decline in production of testosterone as they age. This can lead to a range of non life-threatening but nuisance symptoms such as apathy, loss of muscle bulk, stubborn belly fat, reduction in libido and motivation. Bodybuilders abuse testosterone in excessive amounts to exaggerate male physical features specifically muscle hypertrophy. As a consequence of using super normal volumes they also experience multiple consequential health issues. For normal testosterone use prescribed by doctors, we measure the individuals testosterone deficit and fill this gap to reach a normal serum basal level by introducing a testosterone Top-Up through the agency of muscle absorption via needles, oral absorption through tablets, or skin absorption via patches or gels. Used in physiological doses testosterone therapy can be very safe, very effective, and a large boom to quality of life in individuals whose natural production has faded. Pills, pins (by syringe), and patches each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Learn which is right for you.

I have been put on many many different SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, Mood stabilizers, anti psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 5 years, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. I work out all the time as a part of my mental health recovery!!! Weight training and all kinds of cardio rule much of my free time and I also share this on my channel.

How to Treat Low Testosterone Medina Ohio

01:27
How to treat low testosterone? So what is Testosterone Replacement Therapy? If you’re an aging man, chances are you’ve lost quite a bit of energy, experienced a drop in sexual potency or erectile dysfunction, put on a few extra pounds and now you have to work even harder in the gym to maintain your natural weight. There’s a reason for that and for most men it starts with a ‘T’. We’re talking about the male hormone Testosterone. By the time you hit 35, you’re body is already significantly behind in testosterone production. You see, by your mid-twenties, your testosterone levels begin to decline by about 1-2% a year. And, by 40, you’ve lost nearly half of your necessary growth hormones resulting in a common but often misunderstood condition called Andropause, Low T or Hypogonadism; precisely what we treat with various Testosterone Replacement Therapy options. Men often mistake symptoms of andropause for a midlife crisis. You’ve put on weight, your sexual desire has decreased and even worse, your sexual performance is suffering. To make yourself feel better, you may want to buy a flashy sports car, but in reality, the most likely solution to your problem is Testosterone Replacement Therapy. Many of our patients report 180 degree turnarounds in their marriages or relationships as a result of our Testosterone therapies!! Get the right expert resources for info for Testosterone Replacement Therapies, Low Testosterone Symptoms, Low Testosterone In Men, ... Treatment for adults Treatment for male hypogonadism depends on the cause and whether you're concerned about fertility. Hormone replacement. For hypogonadism caused by testicular failure, doctors use male hormone replacement therapy (testosterone replacement therapy, or TRT). TRT can restore muscle strength and prevent bone loss. In addition, men receiving TRT may experience an increase in energy, sex drive, erectile function and sense of well-being. If a pituitary problem is the cause, pituitary hormones may stimulate sperm production and restore fertility. Testosterone replacement therapy can be used if fertility isn't an issue. A pituitary tumor may require surgical removal, medication, radiation or the replacement of other hormones. Types of testosterone replacement therapy Several testosterone delivery methods exist. Choosing a specific therapy depends on your preference of a particular delivery system, the side effects and the cost. Methods include: Injection. Testosterone injections (testosterone cypionate, testosterone enanthate) are safe and effective. Injections are given in a muscle. Your symptoms might fluctuate between doses depending on the frequency of injections. You or a family member can learn to give TRT injections at home. If you're uncomfortable giving yourself injections, a nurse or doctor can give the injections. Testosterone undecanoate (Aveed), an injection recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration, is injected less frequently but must be administered by a health care provider and can have serious side effects. As the gel dries, your body absorbs testosterone through your skin. Gel application of testosterone replacement therapy appears to cause fewer skin reactions than patches do. Don't shower or bathe for several hours after a gel application, to be sure it gets absorbed. A potential side effect of the gel is the possibility of transferring the medication to another person. Avoid skin-to-skin contact until the gel is completely dry or cover the area after an application. Gum and cheek (buccal cavity). A small putty-like substance, gum and cheek testosterone replacement (Striant) delivers testosterone through the natural depression above your top teeth where your gum meets your upper lip (buccal cavity). This product quickly sticks to your gumline and allows testosterone to be absorbed into your bloodstream. Nasal. Testosterone can be pumped into the nostrils as a gel. This option reduces the risk that medication will be transferred to another person through skin contact. Nasal-delivered testosterone must be applied twice in each nostril, three times daily, which may be more inconvenient than other delivery methods. Testosterone therapy carries various risks, including contributing to sleep apnea, stimulating noncancerous growth of the prostate, enlarging breasts, limiting sperm production, stimulating growth of existing prostate cancer and blood clots forming in the veins. Recent research also suggests testosterone therapy might increase your risk of a heart attack. Got Testosterone?!! The FACTS You Need.

03:43
More vids, article, and FRE reports: http://www.brinkzone.com/ "Low T" or testosterone deficiency syndrome is a very popular topic these days, with men getting prescriptions for injections, gels, patches, and other T replacement options. But is it safe? Are there side effects? What are the possible negatives to treatment of Low T? I cover what most medical professionals fail to tell you! GOT T? As hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has become much more common place, and there is a growing understanding that keeping men in the "healthy" range for testosterone (T) has various benefits, I wanted to briefly address the issue. For those who need a refresher on the basics of blood work, see my article "It's In Your Blood" To review the general issues of low T in men, according to one recent review by a Dr. Shabsigh and colleagues: "Hypogonadism (low testosterone) is associated with central obesity; insulin resistance; low levels of high-density lipoprotein (HDL); high cholesterol levels; and high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides, fibrinogen, and plasminogen activator-1. Some observational studies show a correlation between low testosterone and cardiovascular disease (CVD), and others show no correlation. Interventional studies do not reveal a direct long-term relation between testosterone therapy and CVD. Short-term data suggest cardiovascular benefits of testosterone."• The above review also leaves out other known effects of low T, such as loss of libido, depression, loss of muscle mass and decreases performance, as well as other issues best avoided. Most studies find clear health benefits for men with hypogonadism treated with HRT. However, some fears of long term side effects such as cardio vascular disease (CVD) and prostate cancer have been raised. These fears appear to be unfounded, with benefits to the cardio vascular system for men low in T. So what of the risks of CVD or prostate cancer with HRT? The jury is still out, but most data does not find an association between HRT and CVD or prostate cancer. For example, a retrospective analysis by researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center published in The New England Journal of Medicine found no causal relationship between testosterone replacement and prostate cancer or heart disease risk. According to Dr. Abraham Morgentaler: "We reviewed decades of research and found no compelling evidence that testosterone replacement therapy increases the incidence of prostate cancer or cardiovascular disease."•• This review of 72 studies puts to rest-at least for me- that there is any risk of testosterone replacement therapy, at least where it concerns CVD or prostate cancer. Not everyone would agree with that opinion however and anyone considering HRT should get full blood workup done and talk with their doctor about it. But what about healthy men with normal testosterone levels taking additional testosterone? That's a little less clear at this time. Studies are conflicting whether or not adding additional testosterone to men with normal levels presents an increased risk. However, a study published in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) -- considered one of the most prestigious medical and scientific journals in the world -- found healthy men given 600mg per week of testosterone enanthate did not suffer any side effects, negative changes in lipid profiles, and did not see a rise in prostate-specific antigens, or increased aggression. ••• But what if the person has already had a heart attack? Interestingly, one study suggests testosterone therapy may actually help after a heart attack, but it's preliminary research done on animals. •••• This is just a sample of the many studies published on the topic. Finally, what about the very high doses used by high level bodybuilders and other athletes? That's petty much an unknown at this time. As with many hormones, below a certain levels, health issues arise and above a certain level, the same thing happens, though the health issues may or may not be the same. For example, very high levels or very low levels of T may present an increased risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) but far more is known about too little vs. too much when it comes to testosterone and CVD or prostate issues, etc. At the very high doses used by some athletes it would not surprise me if there was an increased risk of CVD but data is scarce here. So what's the take home? CONT: http://www.brinkzone.com/general-health/got-test/

Hormone Therapy May Help Men with Low T

01:06
http://www.dailyrxnews.com/testosterone-therapy-may-decrease-heart-attack-and-stroke-risk-older-men-who-achieve-normal Older men with low T may wind up reaping some unexpected benefits from hormone therapy. A new study from the Kansas City VA Medical Center found that men who were successfully treated with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) were less likely to have a heart attack or stroke. "With such widespread and ever increasing use of TRT, there has been growing concern regarding its effect on mortality, as well as conflicting results," said corresponding study author Rajat S. Barua, MD, PhD, a cardiologist at Kansas City VA Medical Center, in a press release. "Our aim was to address the knowledge gap." Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone. Many men with low levels report improved energy levels, sex drive and mood after TRT. While these findings may be intriguing, Aaron Michelfelder, MD, a family physician at Loyola University Health System, warned that TRT may not be right for all older men. Only men with low testosterone should consider TRT. "Asymptomatic men should not be screened for low testosterone levels, because there is no evidence that supplementing testosterone in men without symptoms makes any difference in their lives," Dr. Michelfelder told dailyRx News. "Aging is a normal process, and many men do not develop sexual issues or significant fatigue as they age, which would be symptoms of low testosterone."
