Width and height units - Webflow CSS tutorial (using the Old UI)

03:59
In web design, you can declare an element's width and/or height using either fixed values or relative values. This video covers the most commonly used dimensions (outside of ems): 1. Auto-sizing (auto) 2. Pixels (px) 3. Percentage (%) 4. Viewport height (vh) 5. Viewport width (vw) 6. Minimum (min) and maximum (max) You can adjust an element's width and height in the Styles Panel, under the Layout section. We’ll be covering how each of these units work in the context of setting element dimensions. ---------- Get started with Webflow: https://help.webflow.com/courses/getting-started http://webflow.com http://twitter.com/webflow http://facebook.com/webflow

How to Change the Navigation Bar Height CSS in Rockettheme's Gantry 5 Hydrogen Template

07:37
Subscribe Today! ► https://goo.gl/Y3wTy5 This tutorial shows how to change the CSS that sets the height of the top level navigation bar in the Gantry 5 Hydrogen template. Once you know what CSS changes you need to make you will need to put those same changes on your live site. The following tutorial will help you with that step: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkaBka2lJp8 I found out that since brackets are not allowed in YouTube descriptions, I could not post the CSS I said I would share during the video - sorry! In order to find the CSS that we're going to change to adjust the height of that navigation bar, we're going to be using Google Chrome's element examiner. So, I have the Basic Joomla site opened up here with the Gantry 5 template, with Hydrogen template, and I'm going to hit F12 to bring up the element inspector. What we want to do is click on this button here on the left to select an element and we're going to select somewhere up here on that menu bar. That's probably a good guess there since its selecting the whole thing and we'll look down - now we have the elements on this side and what their properties are. Now, as I look over on the left-hand side here in this code you'll see that there's a number of other options in the hierarchy here and I want to just keep highlighting till I get to the element that still is at the top and select what we want. This one "g-container" it goes right across the top but I don't see anything in here setting the same color that is there, so I go up one higher to "g-navigation" to the section. That still highlights right across and when I look over here I see here's the background color that is set. So this is probably the CSS that we want to change. So I'm going to type by just clicking here to add a new line to the CSS to test it and type "height", hit enter and then I'm going to type 40 and we'll do 40 pixels (PX). And we'll see right away, as soon as I finish typing the X, this top bar has the height that is lower. So the next thing that we want to do, though, is we need to find some other CSS to change because as you can see the white of the home menu there is a different height as well. So first of all, before moving on I'm going to left click and select this HTML because you're going to want to put that in our custom HTML page in the Rockettheme template. I'm going to copy that and we'll put it over here on another screen - I just have a notepad open - and here I'm just going to paste that CSS there and we'll get ready for a new line to paste the next things. Alright, so the next thing that we want to do is somehow change the height of this white. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go slowly down through the HTML levels here until only that white is highlighted. I might actually get the point where I run out but here this arrow you see we can click and go to the next level. We'll highlight that - there we go we've got it. That's the active menu. So, when we click on that, look over here and we'll see here the background white color is being set there for "g-navigation, g-main nav top-level" so once again I’m going to type in there "height". We're going to add a new line - let's do the same height of course, 40 pixels, and now that white has changed in its height - so we're making progress. Again, I'm going to select all that CSS, that we've just edited, we actually don't need to repeat the background color so what we'll do is I'll bring my notepad over here and we'll paste that in there. But I'm going to take out this background color line and just delete it. We have some weird double spacing happening here but that won't affect when we paste later on. Alright, next you notice that the title "Home" is now right on the very bottom it's not at the middle of the white spot there. So, let's go down another level over on the left and select - there we go we have the "ag menu item container". We click on that and now we're looking for something that will make that whole move up and as we scroll down here we see "g main nav top level padding" Now this check check box here, we can just uncheck that and see if that has any effect on what we're working on and it does, so we're in the right area and we want to adjust this first number to remove the padding that's at the top so it can move up a bit. I've already been experimenting with this, so we're going to go and put in ".45 REM" and as we change it we see that it's centered nicely up there. So, again down here we'll just hit enter and once again we have some CSS we want to select and copy and put in our list of CSS that we've edited. And of course the final step is to take all of this custom CSS code that we've made changes to and paste that into the "custom.scss" file. -- Tutorial Theme Song "Bluewater" courtesy of http://www.freestockmusic.com Looping Background "Teal Tiles" courtesy of http://www.motionbackgroundsforfree.com #joomla #basicjoomla #cybersalt

How to Make JavaScript Dropdown List

02:05
Follow this step by step guide to learn how to make a drop down menu and integrate it with a raw java script. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.Facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on Facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ Drop down menus are nowadays integrated with functions which enhance the web usage. In this tutorial, we will learn how to make javascript dropdown list. Step 1 -- Enter the code for the List After the "body" and "html" tags, start with "form" tag. Give a title to the drop down menu. For the purpose of this tutorial, we want to make a drop down list from where people can choose their favorite sport. Next, open up the "select" tag and give it an id. Then give a function name for changing the list. For that, we have used the "on change" keyword and specified the function as favsports(). Just ignore the function for now as we will define its working later on. Once done with that, insert the different options for your drop down menu. Enclose these options between "option" tags. Once completed, close the select tag. Next, specify a narration for the output in the "p" tag. Choose the character type as text. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will name it as favorite and will specify its size as twenty. With that done, close the form tag. Step 2 -- Coding for the function Now open the script tag right above the body tag. Right beneath the script tag, we will begin with our function definition. In order to do so, specify your function name along with the function keyword, insert parenthesis and then start with the actual definition enclosed in curly brackets. In the function body, we will first explain the chosen element of menu. We are using a function of "get element by id" and specifying the element within the parameters from which we have to pick up the value, which is of course our javascript dropdown menu. It has already been named as mylist earlier. The next line is about displaying the selected option in a text box. For this purpose, we are using the "selected index" function and then passing the value to the text box, which we have named as favorite, with the "get element by id" method. Once you are done, close the script tag and then save the file as html document. Step 3 -- Open the file Now open up any browser and open the file that you just saved. The javascript dropdown list that you created will be available there. Simply choose any option from the dropdown list and it will appear in the text field right below. In this manner, you can create javascript dropdown list.

Display settings (block, inline-block, inline, and flex) - Web design tutorial (using the Old UI)

02:55
In Webflow (and web design generally), the display setting you set an element determines its behavior in a layout. Generally speaking, elements either stack on top of each other (vertically) or lay out side by side (horizontally), depending on what display setting is used. The beauty is that you can change the display of any element. In this video, we’ll be covering the five display settings available: 1. Block 2. Inline-block 3. Inline 4. Flex 5. None ---------- Get started with Webflow: https://help.webflow.com/courses/getting-started http://webflow.com http://twitter.com/webflow http://facebook.com/webflow

Determinate progress bar - Use when the actual status can be accurately calculated 2. Indeterminate progress bar - Use to provide user feedback when the actual status cannot be calculated To get a determinate progress bar, set the value option of the progressbar() function to an integer value between 0 and the max. $('#progressbar').progressbar({ value : 65 }); To get an indeterminate progress bar, set the value option of the progressbar() function to false (boolean) $('#progressbar').progressbar({ value : false }); Get value for jQuery progressbar from a select element HTML Select Percentage : <select id="ddlPercentage"> <option value="10">10</option> <option value="20">20</option> <option value="30">30</option> <option value="40">40</option> <option value="50">50</option> <option value="60">60</option> <option value="70">70</option> <option value="80">80</option> <option value="90">90</option> <option value="100">100</option> </select> <input type="button" id="btn" value="Set Value" /> <br /><br /> <div id="progressbar"></div> jQuery $(document).ready(function () { var progressbarDiv = $('#progressbar'); progressbarDiv.progressbar(); $('#btn').click(function () { progressbarDiv.progressbar({ value: parseInt($('#ddlPercentage').val()) }); }); }); Display jQuery progress bar value HTML Select Percentage : <select id="ddlPercentage"> <option value="10">10</option> <option value="20">20</option> <option value="30">30</option> <option value="40">40</option> <option value="50">50</option> <option value="60">60</option> <option value="70">70</option> <option value="80">80</option> <option value="90">90</option> <option value="100">100</option> </select> <input type="button" id="btn" value="Set Value" /> <br /> <br /> <div id="progressbar" style="position:relative"> <span style="position:absolute; left:50%; top:20%" id="progressBar-label"> </span> </div> jQuery $(document).ready(function () { var progressbarDiv = $('#progressbar'); progressbarDiv.progressbar(); $('#btn').click(function () { progressbarDiv.progressbar({ value: parseInt($('#ddlPercentage').val()), change: function () { $('#progressBar-label').text(progressbarDiv.progressbar('value') + '%'); } }); }); });

In this tutorial I show you how to style the contact form submit button, various input fields, text area fields, URL fields, telephone fields, number fields and dropdown selection fields. I have created a blog post will sample CSS and sample CSS selectors that you can copy and paste. Here's the link: https://wplearninglab.com/contact-form-7-css-style-almost-anything/ I'll also paste the styles below: /* Submit Button CSS Styles */ .wpcf7 input[type=submit] { padding:15px 45px; background:#FF0000; color:#fff; font-size:30px; font-weight:bold; border:0 none; cursor:pointer; -webkit-border-radius: 5px; border-radius: 5px; } /* Label Text Styles */ .wpcf7 label { padding: 0 0 10px 0; font-size: 20px; } /* Text Input Field Styles */ .wpcf7 input[type=text], .wpcf7 input[type=email], .wpcf7 input[type=url], .wpcf7 input[type=tel], .wpcf7 input[type=number], .wpcf7 .wpcf7-select{ font-size:30px; border: 1px solid red; } /* Textarea Field Styles */ .wpcf7 textarea { width: 100%; color: red; font-size: 20px; border-color:red; } /* Overall form styles */ .wpcf7 { background-color:gray; } Remember that these styles need to go into your CSS stylesheet or if you are putting them right into the header of your site they need to be between style tags. If you are lucky enough to have a theme that allows custom CSS, you can copy and paste them into there. If you're not sure where to find a place where you can enter CSS, this tutorial may help you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLSUWT9MNlA CSS is a very forgiving language, so if you make a change that makes something look really bad just undo your change, save and everything is back to normal. A Dropdown in Contact Form 7 Turned Into A Multi-Select Box | Contact Form 7 Tutorials Part 18

04:05
Grab Your Free 17-Point WordPress Pre-Launch PDF Checklist: http://vid.io/xqRL A Dropdown in Contact Form 7 Can Be Turned Into A Multi-Select Box https://youtu.be/KZGqjKL6Spk Download your exclusive 10-Point WP Security Checklist: http://bit.ly/10point-wordpress-hardening-checklist To create a dropdown in contact form 7 the first thing you need to do is install and configure the contact form 7 plugin. Here's a tutorial on how to do just that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy70WGCjMY4 Now you can head over to the CF7 editor by click on Contact (the new menu item on the left side of your WordPress admin). Then click on the Edit link below the form you want to add a drop down to. Inside the form editor, click where you want the drop down to appear in the form editor. Now click on the dropdown button in the horizontal menu above the form editor. That will open the dialog box to customize the drop down. First, choose whether the dropdown will be required or not. Next, add a description name for the drop down or select field. This is for your reference only. It won't be displayed on the site. Next, enter the choices for the form. If you click the "Allow multiple selections" box then you will create a selection element. People will be able to hold down Control on Windows or Command on a Mac to make more than one selection. If you don't click that box, then you'll create a drop down where people can select only one item. You can also choose to create a blank for the first entry in the element. CF7 just adds a set of dashes, which I don't find very helpful. I like to create my own entry for this, at the very top of the options list. I usually use --- Please Select --- That at least tells visitors what I want them to do. Lastly, you can choose an ID or Class for the dropdown to help you style it more easily with CSS. When you're happy click on Insert Tag. That will insert the tag for the dropdown where you clicked in the form editor earlier. Now you'll need to add the dropdown data to the Mail tab so that the information is included in the email the plugin generates. Click on the Mail tab. Then copy the field from the horizontal list at the top of the mail tab. The name for the field will be the name that you gave it in the dialog box earlier. Now click inside the email body field where you want to dropdown data to go and paste it in. Next, click on Save to save the new addition to your form. Then test the form live to see if it works how you want. Tweak it until you're happy. Subscribe to this awesome channel here: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=wplearninglab

Javascript Scroll Tutorial Load Dynamic Content Into Page When User Reaches Bottom Ajax

15:18
Lesson Code: http://www.developphp.com/video/JavaScript/Scroll-Load-Dynamic-Content-When-User-Reach-Bottom-Ajax Learn to make dynamic page content appear only when user scrolls down to the bottom of your page content using Javascript. We are using the onscroll event for the window object and several DOM properties to create the functionality. *object.offsetHeight - *window.pageYOffset - *window.innerHeight. It serves as a smart way for dynamic websites to load only the data required to fill the window, then load more as the user scrolls down the page. You can see this effect if you have a Facebook account and you scroll down your timeline. Facebook executes new Ajax requests each time you scroll to the bottom of the page content, to load in more data to the page magically with Ajax. This way they do not have to load a lot of data to the page initially, and only spend dynamic data loading energy if the user scrolls down the page to see more and more data. Other large scale dynamic websites also use this approach to achieve efficient database data rendering in a smart modern way.

HTML Tutorial 17 - Drop Down Menus and Text Areas

14:25
Continuing on with HTML forms, in this tutorial we talk about how to add drop down, or selection, menus to our webpages, as well as how to add text areas, which are different than a standard textbox. A drop-down, or selection, menu allows users to choose a value, that is an option in the menu. In our example, we create an e-mail form, where users can use a selection menu to choose a person to send an e-mail to. A text area is different than a textbox created with the "input" tag and text "type", as it can be larger and also enables users to add attributes to it. Additionally, a text area is made up of its own opening and closing tags, and anything between these two tags is included within the text area box. Thank you for watching! Making Equal Height Widget Columns in Thesis

03:05
http://www.thesistoolbox.com Here we demonstrate how to make equal height widget columns using our Thesis Widget Styles plugin. If you've got two widget columns side by side and one has more content than the other, you get a mismatched appearance with the columns unequal in height. This doesn't look good particularly when you've got a strong background like we have here in our example. To make the widget columns equal height, we set the size of the body so that every widget of the particular style has the same height. Of course, you need to know what that height is going to be which you will know after determining what content is going in the widgets. How Thesis Widget Styles Plugin Makes Equal Height Columns Begin by selecting the Widget Styles plugin under Thesis plugins. Then go to the specific style you want to change and select Customization Options. After it opens scroll down to Style the Widget Body. The first option is Set a Fixed Height for the Widget Body. Check the box next to that option and then click on the save button on the page. After saving, go back to the style you are changing and you will find a new setting for Height of Widget Body. Open that setting and enter the number of pixels you would like for the height and then hit save. Go back to and refresh or open up the page with the widget style and you will see that both columns are the same height. You can easily go back and change the height of the columns if you don't have it right yet or if you change the widgets' content in in the future. Creating Additional Styles This feature works well if you've got widgets that are side by side, side by side and stack on top of each other and for widgets with similar content. You can quickly create styles that are very different or the same as an existing style with one variation such as body height and let the widget height be as long as necessary to accommodate the content.

Change WordPress Font-Size Using Theme Options or CSS | WP Learning Lab

07:18
Grab Your Free 17-Point WordPress Pre-Launch PDF Checklist: http://vid.io/xqRL Download your exclusive 10-Point WP Hardening Checklist: http://bit.ly/10point-wordpress-hardening-checklist Change WordPress Font-Size Using Theme Options or CSS | WP Learning Lab Changing WordPress Font-size is done in the theme options panel or with CSS. Once you know where to make the changes in your theme it is easy to do. As with a lot of things in Wordpress, where you do things depends on the theme you're using and the plugins you're running. First, always check to see if your theme has theme options. If it does then you should be able to find a typography tab to edit font sizes. Sometimes font sizes will be found in the general settings of the theme options. The theme options will be found either under the Appearance menu in the left hand side admin menu or there will be special menu item that the them itself added. If your theme doesn't have theme options, then you're next stop should be the customizer. Some themes have a lot of WordPress Customizer support. Go to Appearance then Customizer to see if you can edit font sizes there. If both of those are a no-go then you're left with going to directly to the stylesheet to change font sizes. This is method is great if you have some CSS knowledge. To find your stylesheet go to Appearance then Editor. The stylesheet will be the first thing to appear in the editor. If, for some reason, it's not there, then find the style.css file in the list of theme files on the right and click it to open it in the editor. NOTE: You should be edit stylesheet of a child theme only. If you edit the parent theme stylesheet directly then your edits could be overwritten when you update the them. Here's a tutorial on how to create a child theme if you need it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8n1h-85SMQ Now that you have the CSS stylesheet open in the editor you will need to find the font styles. The easiest way to do this is go to your main site and find the fonts that you want to edit. If you're using Google Chrome or Firefox right click on the text and choose the "inspector" or "inspect" from the context menu. If you're not using Google Chrome or Firefox then start using them. In the inspector that opens at the bottom of the page you should see the text highlighted in the main area and the class of the element on the right. You can type styles right into the element on the right hand side to quickly test to see how big you want the font to be. This doesn't save it permanently. What you see is only in your browser and as soon as you refresh the page you'll lose it. So, find the class for the text, find the right size and move that CSS rule in to the stylesheet for the child theme. Sometimes you'll have to fight with the existing CSS to make your font changes take effect. That's where a command link !important comes in very handy. If you type .h2 {font-size:10px !important;}. Having !important forces that style to take precedent over all others. It's a lazy way to code CSS, but unless you have time to find the conflicting styles, it's a fast and easy trick. How to Change the Font Size in WordPress (3 Different Options)

03:39
Are you wanting to change the font size on your WordPress posts and pages? Not all themes have a simple built-in method for changing the size of text but we have taught many people the way to change this. In this video, we will show you how to change the font size in WordPress. The simplest step would be to use the header tags which are styled by the theme you are using. By highlighting specific text, clicking the dropdown, and selecting the style you want your theme will customize it to be that specified font size. Every theme is unique so depending on the theme would determine how the text will look. A second method would be to install and activate the TinyMCE advanced plugin found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tinymce-advanced/ Once you activate the plugin go under Settings, TinyMCE Advanced to customize the editor's settings. You will see the TinyMCE Editor and be able to add or remove extra buttons but for this, we want the font family and font size added to the editor. This will allow you to choose how large the text should be as well as how it should be styled. The third method requires a little knowledge of CSS as we will be walking through how to manually edit the code for your site for your font size. You will go under Appearance, Customize, Additional CSS to get to the built-in editor. Target what you want to add a change to, for paragraphs, it's normally p. If you do not know what to target you can find out using inspect element, we have an article on how to use inspect element below: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/basics-of-inspect-element-with-your-wordpress-site/ Text version of this tutorial http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-change-the-font-size-in-wordpress If you liked this video, then please Like and consider subscribing to our channel for more WordPress videos. Embed Google Calendar On Your Site Quickly And Easily

06:02
Grab Your Free 17-Point WordPress Pre-Launch PDF Checklist: http://vid.io/xqRL Embed Google Calendar On Your Site Quickly And Easily https://youtu.be/vksO63XQQ3w Download your exclusive 10-Point WP Security Checklist: http://bit.ly/10point-wordpress-hardening-checklist To Embed Google Calendar in WordPress all you have to do is create a Google calendar and grab the iframe code to embed it on your website. Keep in mind, this works on all websites, not just WordPress sites. But there is a "gotcha" that you have to watch out for. First things first, head over to calendar.google.com to and either create a new calendar or log into the Google account that has the calendar you want to share. Next, click on the gear icon near the top right of the page. That will take you to the settings. Then click on Calendars in the top left. You will be presented with a page that shows the calendars on your account. Click on the Shared: Edit Settings link to the right of the calendar you want to share. On the settings page, make sure you select Make This Calendar Public to make it public. If you don't do that, the calendar will only be visible by people who are signed into specific Google accounts with which the calendar has been shared. If that's how you want it, that's great. If not, check the box and save the changes. Back on the settings page for all the calendars (after gear icon click), click on the hyperlinked name of the calendar you want to share. On the next page you will be presented with some calendar details and a box with iframe code. Copy that iframe code and paste into the HTML of where you want it to go on your website. Save the page and see how it looks. Some more tips. Inside the iframe code you will see a height and width parameter. You can change them in there to adjust the size of the calendar to fit the space that you want to fit it into. On the page where you found iframe code for your Google calendar there is a link called "Customize the color, size, and other options" right above the iframe box. Click on it to customize the calendar. On the customization page you will be able to show or hide these options: - Title - Navigation buttons - Date - Print icon - Tabs - Calendar list - Time zone You will be able define the height and width here as well. You can define the default view: week, month, agenda. You can define the day your week starts on and the language of the calendar. Also the default timezone of the calendar can be changed. As your making these changes, there is a live preview of the calendar on the page as well, which is handy. You can change some of the basic colors, but you'll need to use your CSS skills to make any serious changes. The CSS could will need to be added in the stylesheet on your website. When you're done in here you'll have to replace the iframe code you already added to your site with the updated iframe code on the customization page. Avocode – Lesson 5: CSS-Generator And Preprocessors

05:20
How to get 15% discount for first payment on Avocode? Very easy! After downloading program, registration and BEFORE FIRST PAYMENT, on page where you need to input your bank card data, you'll see caption: "Do you have promo code?". And after clicking on this link, enter promo-code "nikita" and you will see price to already with discount. Then push "PAY" and enjoy! If you misunderstood, use these instructions: https://avocode.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202109192-Where-do-I-enter-my-promo-code- === Now it's time to talk about CSS-Generate feature and about the support of CSS-preprocessors. All of the code is generated at the right bar. This section updates every time you select a layer or a group of layers. Avocode can't generate absolutely all CSS-styles, but the most common are available. I mean font-size, font-family, font-weight, height, width, color, background-color and so on.. You can copy all of the generated code to your clipboard in one click or even select one or more strings that you need. Right now native CSS mode is active. It means that there is no preprocessor's code. There are some preferences you can adjust by clicking on this icon on the right. Lets see what have we got there.. Top checkbox switches on and off copying the string with property to a clipboard in one click. Below you see a dropdown menu. It allows you to select between pure CSS and some of the most used preprocessor languages. We will dive in it a bit later. Show Comments is responsible for generating comments based on a layer name. This is with comments enabled. And this is without. Show Absolute Positions option enforces Avocode to insert absolute positions of all elements in the result style code. Use color name option replaces HEX-codes of the most common colors with keywords. For example, #fff will be replaced with word "white", #000 with "black" and so on.. Vendor Prefixes allows you to generate code with vendor prefixes for different browsers. Dropdown menu Unit defines preferenced units for setting width, height and any other sizes in output generated code: px, em or rem. Autoprefixer field can be used to set up which versions of which browsers you want to have prefixed in code. Format of the string is available on caniuse.com. Selector checkbox tells Avocode to create selectors based on layer name. And just below you can select what it will be - identifier, class or tag name. Next you can change the writing style of selectors: either with hyphen, or with underscore and also with camelCase. camelCase means that there are no spaces between words and each word, besides the first one, starts with capital letter. Next you can choose color model for setting colors: HEX, RGB or HSL. And finally quotes type: double or single. Now lets check preprocessors options. Less: like CSS, but it has 2 new options: first - using Less Hat's library mixins, and the second - escapes parameters of mixins if there is any problem with compiling. Sass: you can choose newer syntax of Sass called SCSS There are also several popular mixins libraries for Sass available, which will have impact on the output style code. And the last is Stylus: here is the option that allows Avocode to make generated Stylus code more like native CSS. Stylus by default has no colons, semicolons or brackets – it is all based on spaces, tabs and linebrakes. And it’s also possible to activate Nib mixins library for Stylus code. That's all for preferences. Many features wait for implementing in the future, but you can already customize very much nowadays! Well, now we have to clarify how to use variables and string replacements in Avocode. Generally, variables are the prerogative of CSS-preprocessors, so lets switch to pure Sass without any mixins library and create some color variables in our project with the picker tool. We can now place all of these colors with named variables. All variables appear on the right panel in the VARIABLES section. Any of them can be changed or deleted. There is also Get Code button with full list of variables for inserting available. Now when you select a layer with color code you’ve already placed in variables list, it will be replaced with the named value. This feature is very cool if you are using preprocessors. Just think of how much Avocode actually does for you! The last function we will have a look at in this lesson is string replacement. To create replacement rule you need to press Add Variable button and choose Replace tab. Here in the top field you need to type which string to replace and in the bottom field what it should be replaced with. For example, line font-weight: 400 can be automatically replaced with font-weight: bold. Or you can replace font-family: SourceSansPro with font-family: OpenSans, if you want to use only one font-family through all of your web page.
