10 Kids Who Were Raised By Wild Animals

12:54
10 Real Kids Who Were Raised In The AMAZON JUNGLE Subscribe to our channel: ► http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Richest ◄ Have you ever been to a restaurant or just out in public and you get disrupted by loud and hyper kids? Yup, children can get pretty wild and make quite a scene. However, what about when children get really wild? We mean this in the literal sense and have 10 examples of children who were raised in the wild by animals. We’ll start you off with Natasha, a girl who was actually raised by feral cats and dogs after her parents neglected her. Then there’s Bello, a character who is seemingly straight from a Disney movie thanks to the fact he was raised by chimps. We’ll travel to India to tell you about a boy who was actually living with wolves. Not too far from there, lives a woman in Cambodia who appeared from the jungle one day after living a feral life for several years. If you like cats then be sure to stick around for the story of the little boy who was actually raised by a pack of feral street cats. No discussion of kids raised by wild animals would be complete without mentioning Marina Chapman. Allegedly kidnapped, her strange story involves monkeys in the jungle and a happy ending. In Siberia, a boy named Andrei was abandoned by his parents. Incredibly, he survived the harsh environment thanks to man’s best friend. In the Andes Mountains in South America, we’ll tell you about a boy known only as Daniel who survived thanks to wild goats. Speaking of mountains, there’s also the incredible story of Marcos who basically lived with wolves and, from what we can gather, experienced a Disney-like story over several years. Finally, there’s the story of a Ugandan man named John who fled into the jungle as a boy and was “discovered” years later living with a troop of monkeys. 10 Most Dangerous Cat Breeds That Are Still Awww

12:27
Cats are one of the most popular pets in the world. And they can be just as playful, cuddly, and friendly as their canine counterparts! Are you a cat person? Are you considering getting one? Well, you probably should leave the following 10 dangerous cat breeds off your list of potential candidates. TIMESTAMPS: Pallas’s cat 0:58 The Savannah 2:14 The Chausie 3:40 The Jungle cat 443 The Abyssinian 5:43 The British Shorthair 6:52 The Maine Coon 7:51 The Mekong Bobtail 8:48 The Siamese 9:43 The Bobcat 10:55 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The distinct trait of Pallas’s cat is its un-cat-like round eyes and pupils. The important question is: can you tame this kitty? The short answer is: no. - The Savannah is a crossbreed between the African Serval and your common domestic house cat. It has a long neck, body, and legs with dark-brown to black spots all over its coat. - Also known as the “Nile cat,” this breed is a cross between an Abyssinian domestic cat and a Jungle cat. Its wild ancestor, the Jungle cat, is the very one that the ancient Egyptians worshipped! - The Jungle cat's scientific name is Felis chaus, but it also goes by the “Swamp Lynx,” Swamp Cat,” or “Reed Cat.” While the name would have you think otherwise, this cat does not live in the jungle but rather in wetlands with dense vegetation. - The Aby is one of the oldest domesticated cat breeds. Believed to originate from Abyssinia, which is modern-day Ethiopia, most experts nowadays site Egypt as the breed’s place of origin. - If you’re familiar with the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland or Puss in Boots in Shrek, then you’ve definitely met some of the on-screen representations of the British Shorthair. This breed can weigh up to 20 pounds and lives up to about 20 years. - The Maine Coon is a large breed that can weigh up to 20 pounds or more. It also received celebrity status as “Mrs. Norris” in the Harry Potter movies. - The Mekong Bobtail can weigh up to 10 pounds and has a lifespan of up to 18 years. And, of course, we can’t forget to mention this breed’s most unique feature: its tiny little bobbed tail! - The Siamese is the most talkative and opinionated cat out there! It demands to be entertained and showered with attention 24/7. It can be pretty cautious around strangers and outright naughty when left alone at home! - Known as Lnyx rufus in the scientific community, the Bobcat is a nocturnal animal with a natural habitat in the wild. Yet some people are brave (or silly) enough to make them pets. Lioness would rather maul musician than hear his violin (Video) Any Articles News

Violinist Kyle Dillingham may know how to draw a crowd with his music, but this lioness was much less impressed. The performer brought his talent to the zoo in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he hoped to “serenade” the lions. That’s when this big cat stepped in and tried to attack him from inside the enclosure. Luckily for this guy, there was a barrier between them. ©AnyArticles #AnyArticles

After 15 Years Of Friendship, This Tiger And Bear Just Said A Final Farewell To Their Lion Brother

06:42
►youtube/Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary https://goo.gl/o3UjSA ************************************************************** Social media users went crazy when they first heard the story of the bear, the lion and the tiger whose tortured pasts made them inseparable furr-ever friends. Yes, the trio lived together happily for over a decade, but now fate has stepped in to take one of the brothers away for good. Their parting is heartbreaking. The touching story of the eclectic friends began back in 2001 when police carried out a drug raid on a house in Atlanta. The officers’ search took them to the basement of the house, where they found something that must have made their jaws hit the floor. There, three caged exotic animal cubs had been kept in terrible conditions. The babies – a bear, a lion and a tiger – were underweight, underfed and infested with parasites both inside and out. And, in addition to their malnourishment and neglect, the animals had suffered horrible abuse in their cages, which were clearly not fit for animals of their size. ************************************************************** ►You can support the channel: PATREON https://goo.gl/KtaKrp ►Source footage: Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary https://goo.gl/pcWnBm ►Image credits: Image: Facebook/Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary: home of the BLT https://goo.gl/xbe6Qg ►web: http://watchjojo.com ► SUBSCRIBE US: https://goo.gl/Z4nZcg ► Follow Us On Google Plus: https://goo.gl/JYf9Rr ► Like us Our Facebook Page: https://goo.gl/C5Rv92 ► Follow On Twitter: https://goo.gl/PZ2U1R ►For more articles visit: http://scribol.com ►Article link: https://goo.gl/DDvm7s #watchjojo

10 People Who Accidentally Adopted Monsters

11:10
10 People Who Adopted Pets Who Surprised Them Subscribe to our channel: https://goo.gl/cv6b96 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Have you ever dreamed of adopting a cute little puppy or a playful kitten? These beautiful animals are a great addition to the family as they make sure everyone is loved and has a reason to smile every day. However, some of these persons were surprised to see that the creature they accidentally adopted turned out to be a real-life adorable monster. Some of these people wanted a dog but quickly found out that they bought something else by accident. We understand that an animal lover didn’t make the difference between a baby dog and a baby wolf. But how can someone adopt a ferret thinking it is a little puppy? He later found out that the rodent was filled with steroids to be sold as a dog and was certainly not happy about that. When you see the picture, you understand how this mistake was possible. There are also some people who just can’t be satisfied with a cat, so they buy a bigger kitten instead. Even though they intended to adopt it, these owners didn’t seem to know these big cats could turn out to be monsters. An actress said that she regretted letting her daughter sleep with a lion, years after inviting this animal into her home. But most owners don’t even seem to care with three tigers in their backward. Even though these animals appear to be sweet and lovable, we don’t even want to think about what could happen if something went wrong. If you want to know about more people who accidentally adopted monsters, watch this video and don’t forget to subscribe to TheThings. Which monster would you like to adopt? They also tend to greet each other by touching noses. - The problem of acne is pretty common among cats. They usually end up developing blackheads on their chins, which is widely known as feline acne. - Most cats tend to spend about two-thirds of their day sleeping. So the average 9-year-old cat has been fully awake for only 3 years of its life! Cats also spend about one-third of their waking hours cleaning themselves up. - One of the reasons why cats clean themselves so often is to lick your scent off! When your cat rubs against you from nose to tail, it wants to mark you as its own. - Cats have rather sensitive stomachs, so you should be very careful about your furry friend's menu. Never give your cat onion, garlic, green tomatoes, chocolate, grapes, or raisins. - Your cat always understands when you say its name…it just chooses to ignore you! Specialists believe this happens because, historically, cats haven't been domesticated to listen to people's orders — unlike dogs. - A cat's whiskers aren't there to make them extra cute! They’re covered in numerous nerve cells and blood vessels. - Cats have a special reflective layer in their eyes called the tapetum lucidum. This layer easily magnifies incoming light and allows cats to see around 6 times better than we do in the dark and low light. - A cat's heart beats way faster than ours with about 110 to 140 beats every single minute. - A cat's cerebral cortex contains 300 million neurons. Just for comparison, dogs have only around 160 million. - It's a natural instinct for a kitten to cover its poop. If your cat doesn't do that, this is its way of showing you who's the true head of the house. - Back in 2007, a calico cat named Tama became a station master and greeted passengers at Kishi Station. - Cats can easily jump about 6 times their own length! This is all thanks to the powerful muscles in their back legs, which allow them to jump onto any surface they like. - Biologically, a cat's brain is kinda similar to ours. We have almost identical brain regions that take care of our emotions, so there's a chance that you and your furry friend feel the same way sometimes. - In the cat world, the concept of left- or right-handedness is a thing too! Most cats are actually left-pawed! Couple Adopt Tiny Maine Coon Kitten Only for It to Become the Longest Cat in the World

04:31
When you adopt a new pet when he is still a baby, you don't really know what he will look like when he is full grown. You also don't know exactly how big he will be. You can estimate judging by the size of his mothers and his siblings, but if his father isn't on-site, you never know just how big he will get. This is something that a woman named Sephy learned firsthand. When Stepy first picked up her kitten, he was a little ball of fur. He was in a basket with his other siblings, and he was the same size as each of them. She says that he was the cutest little kitten and from the second she met him, and she knew that his name was Omar. He looked like an Omar, and he was meant to be an Omar. Omar was a Maine Koon kitten, and Stephy did her research before adopting him. She wanted to know how big he would get, how much he would eat, and what to expect regarding his behavior. She wanted to know everything she could before adopting him. She figured that doing her research would help her understand her new pet's needs. According to the research that she did online, she expected Omar to grow to be about 19-pounds. By the time Omar was a year old, he had grown to be a bit over 19-pounds, and she knew that he was still growing. At this point, she wasn't sure how big he was going to grow. She never expected him to get as big as he did. When Omar was a year old, Stephy discovered that he had some strange eating habits. He at his cat food regularly, but he had a taste for kangaroo meat as well. It was his favorite, and Stephy often gave it to him as a treat. She didn't think much of his odd eating habits, and she just made him happy by feeding it to him often. She isn't sure if it has anything to do with how much he's grown, but she thinks that it is a possibility. As time went on, Omar grew to be much bigger than the cat that Stephy and her boyfriend already had named Ru. He was just a little bit bigger, and he grew to be much bigger than Ru. As Omar grew larger and larger, he soon grew to be bigger than the family dog. Stephy and her boyfriend have a Collie, and Omar grew to be bigger than him shortly after his first birthday. When Omar became the biggest pet in the home, Stephy knew that she was going to have a big cat on her hands. When Omar was a baby, Stephy allowed him to share the bed with her and her boyfriend. Shortly before his first birthday, Stephy had to get Omar a new bed. He was so big that he couldn't share her bed anymore because he just took up too much space. It was difficult for them to get a good night's sleep with Omar taking up most of the room in the bed. Fortunately, Omar got used to sleeping in his own bed. Stephy saw how big Omar was getting, and she started an Instagram account for him so that people could watch how fast he was growing. Within two weeks, the Cats of Instagram shared one of his photos. The photo was liked over 275,000 times, and Omar now has close to 25,000 followers. When Stephy's friends saw the photos, they asked her if they were photoshopped because it was unbelievable how big this cat had gotten. The cat had grown to be over 47-inches long and over 30 pounds. When the Guinness Book of World Records saw the photos, they reached out to Stephy. They wanted to measure Omar to see if he could beat the current record holder, Ludo. When they measured him, they discovered that he was half an inch longer than Ludo. Sephy was shocked. This couple adopt tiny Maine Coon kitten, only for it to become the longest cat in the world. Stephy and her boyfriend love Omar, regardless of his gigantic size. Even though he is bigger than his furry siblings, Stephy says that he is incredibly gentle. Omar's day begins at 5 am, and he loves to play all day and take naps with his fur siblings on the trampoline outdoors. He may be very large in size, but he is loved just as much as the other pets in the family. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Facts Verse: http://bit.ly/FactsVerse ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/factsverse/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/factsverse/ Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/factsverse6030/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.factsverse.com

12 Signs Your Pet is Crying for Help

10:01
Is your cat just tired, or does it have a fever? Has your dog been drinking more water than usual? Can that be a sign of something dangerous? If you notice any of the following warning signs, take your pet to the vet urgently! We love our pets. They are our family. They wake you up in the morning asking you to feed them or take them for a walk. They miss you when you go to work, and they are extremely happy to see you coming back home. We get used to them very much and learn their behaviors quickly. The difference between pets and the rest of the family is that animals can’t complain when they are sick. TIMESTAMPS Change of the gum’s color 1:09 Staring at a wall 1:37 Breathing problems 2:10 The coat is altered 2:49 Loss of appetite 3:23 Changes in drinking habits 4:31 Vomiting 5:42 Diarrhea 6:22 Sudden aggression 6:50 Hiding 7:26 Changes in the appearance of the eyes 8:06 Lethargy 8:46 SUMMARY - Both cats and dogs normally have pink gums. Change of the color may indicate high fever, infection, lack of oxygen, loss of blood and even liver problems. - If insects are not the case, call the animal by its name. If it doesn’t look at you or respond in any way, it may be an alarming sign. Reasons vary from tumors, stroke and head injuries to convulsions and cognitive dysfunction syndrome. - If you notice your pet breathing rapidly with its mouth open (especially cats), you should take it to the vet immediately! The poor pet may have heart problems or liquid in the chest. - When a cat is sick, it doesn’t have the strength to lick itself. So, the fur may lose its fancy shine. If your cat or dog sheds too much fur (so it becomes visible), it may be a sign of skin diseases, lack of vitamins, allergies. - Your cat’s normal behavior (not that we think it’s good manners) is to jump on the table when you are cooking and try to steal a piece of cheese or something else. Dogs usually make sorrowful eyes when you are having dinner, so it’s hard to resist giving them a chunk of meat. - Don’t worry if your cat doesn’t drink much if it eats wet cat food. It’s ok for them not to drink any water at all because they get enough of it from food. If your cat eats dry food and drinks very little or no water at all, check your house or apartment for water leakage. - Dogs aren’t as inventive, so if you notice that your dog doesn’t drink enough, go straight to the vet, too. Normally dogs drink a lot, no matter if they eat wet or dry kind of food. - If your pet has occasional vomiting, it’s probably nothing serious. Dogs often eat trash when walking (so watch out for that!), cats eat their own hairs when cleaning and vomit hairballs from time to time. - Any changes in frequency or consistency of stool are alarming. Yes, that’s gross, but come on! That’s your pet after all! - If you have been loving and kind to your pet, then the reason for such an unfair response may be the pain. Dental issues, arthritis, injuries, infections — these are just a few conditions that may alter a pet’s mood and cause it pain. - If your pet usually looks for your company and attention and then suddenly starts to hide under the bed or other places, where you can’t get to it, it may be a bad sign. - Red eyes, excessive secretion are symptoms viruses and bacterial infection. For example, clear secretion from cat’s eyes means the cat has a virus. If the liquid is green or yellow, we’re dealing with an infection. - Your cat or dog isn’t showing interest in playing with toys? Perhaps, it got tired of them or you. Give it some time to rest. Maybe your friend needs some alone time. However, if it doesn’t go back to normal in 24-48 hours, it might mean that your pet has a fever or even much more severe problems like dehydration (check its water bowl) or even a heart disease. HOW TO UNDERSTAND YOUR CAT BETTER

09:20
How to understand your cat? 🐱 How to make friends with your cat? 😍 Everyone knows that cats are the most illogical and unpredictable pets. Just try to work out what’s going through that furry little head! It turns out that cats have their own language, and if you learn it there’s a chance you’ll understand them much better. We’ve put together all of the possible cat behaviors to help you find a common language with your pet (well, if it allows you to). Also, we’ve prepared three essential tips that will help you communicate with cats better. HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CAT • How to make your cat trust you Lowering your cat to the ground, make sure its paws have reached the floor. Your cat will trust you and know that it won’t tumble if you let it go. • How to stroke your cat If you sit on the floor with your legs crossed and look at your cat, it will interpret this as a friendly gesture and come up to you to let you stroke it. Also, stretch your hand out in its direction. Your middle finger should be a little lower than the others. The cat will start rubbing its nose or face against your hand. • How to make your cat appear A cat may go and hide and only appear when it’s alone or hears a calm voice. #understandcat #catbehavior #pet TIMESTAMPS Cat's tail 0:52 Cat's eyes 3:47 Cat's interaction with people 4:38 Cat gestures 6:14 Cat language 6:57 How to communicate with your cat better 8:09 MAIN CAT GESTURES • If a cat raises its nose up and throws its head, it’s saying, “I see you.” Cats often make this gesture to people walking past the window. Have you ever noticed it? • A cat might press its ears against its head if it feels scared, worried, or wants to play. They also do this when they are sniffing something that’s interested them. • When a cat sticks its tongue out slightly and licks itself, it’s worried or anxious. CAT LANGUAGE • Cats generally greet people or announce their presence with a short sound. • Lengthy meowing indicates that your cat is very glad to see you. This occurs if you’re away from home for a long time. • A medium-length meow might be a request for water or food. • A long sound (a mix of purring and meowing) is a more insistent request or demand. • A low meow is a complaint or indication of dissatisfaction. Also, it might mean your cat is ready to fight. • A loud sound often indicates an urgent demand (for instance, you cat needs more food). • A purring or vibrating sound indicates a desire for closer contact or attention. Cats purr for various reasons, but most often they do it when they are happy. Now you know how to find a common language with any cat. By the way, are you a cat person or a dog person? Hit the like button for cats, and leave a short comment if you are in love with dogs! 10 Extinct Animals Scientists Are Ready to Bring Back

10:09
Do you know that scientists are almost ready to bring back some species that have been long gone? A T-Rex and other dangerous creatures aren't on the VIP list, so we won't see them in the not-so-distant future. But some of our most beloved characters from the Ice Age movies can be brought back to life! Instead of using the controversial term “cloning,” scientists prefer to say “make un-extinct.” To-may-to, to-mah-to, the idea is the same. An animal that died out thousands of years ago can't be brought back to life unless it's cloned. And therein lies the problem. For successful cloning, scientists need to have almost completely undamaged animal DNA. That's why some species are more likely to be resurrected than others. TIMESTAMPS: The woolly mammoth 2:01 The saber-toothed tiger 3:00 The Moa 3:48 The ground sloth 4:27 The dodo 5:19 Woolly rhinoceros 6:12 The Irish elk 6:44 The Baiji river dolphin 7:26 The Siberian unicorn 8:05 The Neanderthal 8:55 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - While most of the woolly mammoths died out about 10,000 years ago, there was a population of about 500 to 1,000 of them living on Wrangel Island as recent as 1650 B.C.E. The woolly mammoth was roughly the size of an African elephant. - The saber-toothed tiger was about the size of your typical modern-day big cats. It weighed from 200 to 600 pounds and could get up to 13 feet long. The saber-toothed tiger usually had a muscular neck, bobbed tail, powerful front legs, and dagger-like teeth that protruded from the upper jaw and could grow just under a foot long! - The moa was a huge flightless bird that looked kinda like an ostrich, minus the wings. We know of about 10 members of the moa family. Some were no bigger than a turkey while others reached a height of 10 feet, making this bird the largest that has ever inhabited our planet. - Ground sloths are likely to be successfully resurrected since they were still walking the Earth about 8,000 years ago. Even better, some samples of their DNA have already been received from undamaged hairs of this animal. - The dodo became extinct just 80 years after it had been discovered. Its only known habitat was Mauritius Island, where the dodo had been living peacefully for who knows how long until the Dutch showed up in the 1590s. - Besides the woolly mammoth, there’s one more fluffy extinct creature, the woolly rhinoceros, that scientists want to bring back. This animal still lived in the Arctic snows pretty recently, about 10,000 years ago. This furry rhino is quite famous too; it often makes an appearance in ancient cave art, like in the French Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave. - The Irish elk, also called the giant deer, was one more animal that didn't quite manage to survive the Ice Age. This creature mostly died out about 12,000 years ago. But researchers have discovered Irish elk fossils in Siberia that are only 7,000 to 8,000 years old. - The Baiji river dolphin went extinct in 2006, making it the first cetacean (that’s whales, dolphins, and porpoises) to die out directly due to the negative impact of human activity. It's obvious by now that since the extinction is quite recent, there’s a sea of DNA samples at hand that make resurrection pretty much a guaranteed success. - A Siberian unicorn skull discovered in Kazakhstan proved that the animal had actually disappeared just 29,000 years ago. That’s good news for people who wanna see a real unicorn someday! - Bringing the Neanderthal back would be the easiest task of them all. Scientists already have a map of its genome. It’s not a question of whether or not we can, but if we should… Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Articles (a, an, the) - Lesson 1 - 7 Rules For Using Articles Correctly - English Grammar

16:59
In this lesson, learn the 7 rules for using articles in English correctly. Also see - MOST COMMON MISTAKES IN ENGLISH & HOW TO AVOID THEM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Dax90QyXgI&list=PLmwr9polMHwsR35rD9spEhjFUFa7QblF9 For more FREE English lessons, SUBSCRIBE to this channel. Transcript: Hello and welcome. In this lesson, I will teach you the seven rules that you need to know for using articles in English correctly. Articles are the words ‘a’, ‘an’, and ‘the’. There is a final quiz at the end of the lesson for you to test your understanding. OK, the first rule is about where to use ‘a’ and where to use ‘an’. So rule number one is use ‘a’ before a consonant sound, and ‘an’ before a vowel sound. So in all of these words – you see that they start with a consonant sound. Cat starts with /k/, dog starts with /d/, boy with /b/, girl with /g/, house with /h/ and tree with /t/. So we say ‘a cat’, ‘a dog’, ‘a boy’, ‘a girl’, ‘a house’, ‘a tree’ etc. Notice that in natural speech, we don’t say ‘a’, we say ‘uh’ – like ‘a cat’. In this next set of words, you see that, they all start with a vowel sound – apple starts with /ae/, engineer starts with /e/, ice-cream with /ai/, old with /o/, umbrella with /uh/. So we say ‘an apple’, ‘an engineer’, ‘an ice-cream cone’, ‘an old womman’, ‘an umbrella’ and so on. In speech, we don’t say ‘an’, we say /ən/. Let’s do a small exercise. You see ten items on the screen. For each one, I want you to say if you would use ‘a’ or ‘an’ before it. Stop the video, think about it, then play the video again and check. OK here are the answers. Did you get them all right? I want to focus on items number seven to ten because these are a little tricky. Number seven is ‘a university’ because even though ‘university’ starts with the letter ‘u’ the first sound of the word is not a vowel sound. We don’t say /ooniversity/. We say /yoo-nə- vər-si-ty/ so that first sound is a /y/ sound, which a consonant sound, so we say ‘a university.’ Number eight is similar. The word ‘European’ starts with a /y/ sound, so ‘a European tour.’ In number nine, the spelling has an ‘h’ at the start but that ‘h’ is silent. We don’t say /hau-ər/, we say /au-ər/. The first sound is an /au/ sound which is a vowel sound, so this is ‘an hour’. In the same way, in number ten, we say MA. ‘M’ starts with an /e/ sound which is again a vowel sound, so ‘an MA in English’. OK let’s move on to rule number two: Use ‘a’ and ‘an’ ONLY with singular, countable nouns. We say that a noun is countable if we can count it – one, two, three, four etc. All of these words on the screen are countable. We can say one elephant, three cars, ten teachers, five hundred onions and so on. Now if you talk about one person or thing, like one elephant or one car, then that’s called a singular noun and if you say ten teachers or five hundred onions, those are called plural nouns. Uncountable nouns cannot be counted in this way. Nouns like water, sugar, milk, love, anger, knowledge are some examples. If you think about it, you cannot say “I drank four waters” or “I want eight milks”. To a person, you can say “I love you” but you can’t say “I have five loves for you” – that doesn’t make any sense. So these are all uncountable. Alright, so the rule is - you can only use ‘a’ and ‘an’ if you’re talking about one person or one thing. Let’s do another quick exercise. Here are ten items again. This time, you see ‘a’ or ‘an’ before the nouns, but some of these are wrong. They should NOT have ‘a’ or ‘an’ before them. Stop the video, identify the mistakes, then play the video again and check. OK, here are the answers. Number three is wrong because ‘shirts’ is a plural and you cannot use ‘a’ or ‘an’ before a plural noun. Number five is wrong because ‘happiness’ is uncountable, so again, ‘a’ or ‘an’ cannot be used there. The same goes for number six – water is uncountable. Number nine is wrong because ‘doctors’ is a plural – you can say ‘a doctor’ but not ‘a doctors’. And finally, in number ten, advice is an uncountable noun – so you cannot ask for ‘an advice’. Now a quick note here: the article ‘the’ can be used with all kinds of nouns – singular or plural countable nouns, and uncountable nouns. OK, so let’s now talk about how to choose between ‘a’ or ‘an’ and ‘the’. Here’s rule number three: Use ‘a’ or ‘an’ to talk about a person or thing unknown to your listener. And use ‘the’ to talk about a person or thing known to your listener. For example, “My sister has two computers: a PC and a laptop. The PC is quite old but the laptop is brand new.” I say ‘a PC’ and ‘a laptop’ because that’s the first time I’m mentioning the two computers. That is, until this point, they are unknown to you, the listener.

Thankfully, I got Gibi of Gibi ASMR to help me figure out what it's all about. What did you think of my ASMR segment? Did you like the haircut roleplay? Did any part give you tingles? 12 Harmful Things You Do to Your Dog Without Realizing It

13:14
How to Keep Your Dog Healthy. If you're a dog owner, you surely want your pet to be healthy and to live a long and happy life. But you might sometimes do things that can potentially harm your canine companion without even realizing it. Here are some common mistakes people unintentionally make when it comes to taking care of their doggies. TIMESTAMPS Choosing the wrong collar 1:00 Leaving a dog alone in the car 3:08 Neglecting your dog's teeth 4:15 Letting your dog eat everything 6:07 Bringing puppies to a dog park 7:47 Using physical punishment 8:13 Providing too little stimulation 9:48 Not securing your dog in the car 10:31 Yelling when your dog does something wrong 11:05 Skipping flea, tick, and worming treatment 11:28 Leaving harmful objects around 11:51 Neglecting breed-specific health issues 12:22 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY -There are several types of collars, and you need pick the one that best suits the needs and character of your pup, as well as a place to attach his license. Whether you've settled on a harness or gone for a collar, the second (and just as important!) step is making sure it’s the right size. If a collar or harness is too big, your pooch may escape. -Dogs don't sweat like people do, so they can overheat much faster than you’d think. And since they lack this crucial ability to cool themselves off, the consequences of staying in a locked car can turn out fatal. -A dog’s teeth need to be cleaned just like people’s teeth do. Don't use toothpastes and toothbrushes designed for people! There are special ones made just for dogs, and they’re pretty different from the human kinds. -Never feed human food to your dog! It's way too salty, too spicy, and too fatty for them. In fact, most dishes you eat are severely toxic for them. -To start with, dogs can sometimes be passive carriers of diseases. Secondly, grown-up dogs, especially large ones, can be incredibly rough when playing and running around. -Physical punishment doesn’t work and actually does the opposite of what you want – it makes your dog scared of you. Reward-based training is much more effective than physical discipline. -Just like you, dogs need constant mental and physical stimulation-, especially working breeds, which is why regular walking is a must. -If you don’t secure your dog in the car and you end up in an accident, your pet can get seriously injured or even killed. -Dogs don’t understand “NO”, so it only freaks your dog out, especially if you’re ticked off about something that happened a while ago. -Some people say you can take a break from flea, tick, and heartworm medicine in winter if you live in a cold climate, but you really should discuss it with your veterinarian. -Dog-proof your house by putting away anything your pet can chew or swallow. Things like medications, screws and nails, magnets, coins, and batteries should never be within your pet’s reach. -Always do your research before you get a pet so that you’ll know how to best take care of it and what problems to look out for. 01:42
Videos of stoned dogs have been posted on YouTube and show what happens when people's precious pooches accidently eat food laced with pot. Now that medical marijuana is legal in 23 states, pot-infused edibles are more common than ever and scenarios with dogs getting high are also more common. 10 Exercises to Become Taller In One Week

13:35
You may have different reasons for dreaming of becoming taller: to feel more comfortable with your taller partner, not to lag behind your tall family, and what not. Here're several simple exercises to do at home that will help you to increase your height. Everybody knows that the height depends on many factors: environment, hormones, your genes, and nutrition. But if you've always believed that you must just grin and bear it, think twice. It's hard but not impossible to change your height even after 25. Stretched muscles receive more blood as it circulates better in the stretched limbs. What is more, oxygen moves better in the whole body. All in all, this leads to a gradual natural stretch. Cobra Pose has several additional benefits, such as decreasing the stiffness of the lower back, increasing flexibility, strengthening your shoulders and arms, and firming and toning the buttocks. A longer neck you can get as a result of Neck Stretch will give you some additional height. There have been claims that by regular practice, vibration gymnastics can even prolong your life by decades. When your heels are raised, the largest blood vessels are filled with blood due to muscle contraction. And, when the heels are dropped back down, the blood turns around and immediately starts moving toward your heart, thus reducing the strain on it. At the same time, blood gets access to all the muscles, thus, allowing them to stretch much better. Skipping makes the whole body slimmer, and with a slimmer body, you look taller. Swimming is one of the most effective exercises to gain height. The thing is that it stretches both the body and the spine. Moreover, when a person is swimming, gravitation doesn't affect them. So, when they keep moving their muscles, this stretches the body extremely well simultaneously having a great effect on the spine while it gets longer. #becometaller #growfast #growtaller Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS Hanging exercises 1:21 Downward Dog 2:30 Cobra Pose 3:51 Cat and Cow Stretch 4:43 Calves Stretch 6:06 Neck Stretch 7:25 Hip Flexor Stretch 8:46 Lifting up to your toes 10:18 Skipping 11:21 Swimming 12:05 SUMMARY -Try this antigravity exercise to stretch every muscle in your body stretches when you hang. -The Downward Dog exercise improves stretchability, which includes arms, legs, back, calves, and hamstrings. A well-stretched body is a taller body. -Cobra Pose helps to stretch all the muscles in your chest, shoulders, and abdominals. -Cat and Cow Stretch stretches your torso, back, and neck, what is more, it makes your spine alignment better. Also, it helps abdominal muscles get stronger, relieves back pain, and calms you down. -Calves Stretch will help you to lengthen your calf muscles. -Flexion (stretching the neck forward), and extension (stretching the neck backward) help to elongate the muscles in your neck. -Hip Flexor Stretch will super effectively stretch your hip flexors. To make the stretch more intense, lift your arms over your head and arch your body back. -Lifting up to your toes is popularly known as vibration gymnastics. By regular practice, it can even prolong your life by decades. -Skipping is a heart-pumping high-speed activity. When you skip, all the muscles and ligaments of your body stretch and contract. -The most fruitful swimming style is the breaststroke. When you use it while swimming, you extend your legs and arms straight, so your body is pulled in the opposite directions and well-stretched. Try to swim minimum five days a week for several hours, and you'll see noticeable results. 10 Unique Animals You Won’t Believe Exist

09:42
10 strange and amazing animals that you have probably never heard of. Nature is truly full of surprises! We live in the twenty-first century, and all continents have already been discovered, all secrets of our planet revealed, all mountain peaks conquered. Just when you think you have seen it all, some new bizarre creature makes an appearance instantly restoring your faith in the impossible! TIMESTAMPS Mangalitsa Pig, a.k.a. “a pig in sheep’s clothing” 0:50 Rhinopithecus or golden snub-nosed monkey 1:33 Emperor tamarin 2:13 Patagonian Mara 3:04 Fluffy cow 3:52 Markhor Goat 4:44 Raccoon dog 5:23 Blue Footed Booby 6:25 Malayan Colugo 7:13 Venezuelan Poodle Moth 8:09 BONUS 8:56 SUMMARY - The birthplace of this curly-haired pig is Hungary where it was discovered in the mid-19th century. Due to the fleece covering this animal, it resembles a sheep, therefore, such a name! - The name of this species is roxellana, and there is a story behind it. It is believed that they were called this way after the supposedly snub-nosed courtesan of Suleiman the Magnificent (a 16th century Sultan of the Ottoman Empire). - They were called like this because of the resemblance of their mustache to that of German Emperor Wilhelm II. - Patagonia Mara is the fourth largest rodent on our planet. There are several interesting facts about them. Females often put offsprings into crèches for safety. - Fluffy cows are looked after by people whose work is to wash, dry and use products to style these animals, so they look as fluffy as they do! It is necessary to maintain them daily, and it will take months of regular grooming until they get this lovely look of kids toys. - If you see a creature which looks as if it’s trying to catch an alien radio signal from space, it’s most likely Markhor Goat. They can grow as long as 6 ft from head to tail! - If you can’t decide if you want to have a dog or a raccoon as a pet, we have just the thing for you - raccoon dog! Despite having raccoon-like markings on their fur, they are not very closely related to the North American raccoon. - Blue Footed Booby are to catch your eye if you ever visit the Galapagos Islands. They can look a bit clumsy and comical on land, but they are excellent at flying and swimming. - Colugo has a large gliding membrane (like a flying squirrel), and they can glide for long distances between trees standing far apart. - Even if the Poodle Moth may look as if it lives in Antarctica with all this fur, in fact, it comes from Venezuela, a tropical country. Its hairs don’t serve for heating. BONUS Cloud Antelope! This species lives in the clouds (that’s why such a name)! Its bright blue fur is the reflection of cloudless blue skies in the area of its habitat. Its diet consists of sun rays and candies... 10 Exotic Animals You Can Keep as Pets at Home

12:37
How to keep an exotic pet. It can be a skunk, a fennec, or even a capybara. Above all, it’ll cost you quite a lot of money and effort to take care of one of those creatures. But if you’re ready to accept the challenges and responsibilities, pay attention to these important tips any exotic pet owner must follow. TIMESTAMPS: Capybara 1:08 Fennec 2:23 Axolotl 3:28 Sugar Glider 4:49 Genet 5:56 Hedgehog 6:56 Electric Blue Crayfish 7:43 Kinkajou 8:36 Fox 9:40 Skunk 11:14 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The capybara is a huge but very friendly rodent that can weigh up to 140 lb. This intelligent animal can make friends with anyone and gets along well with cats, dogs, and birds. You can easily train your capybara, and it won’t show any resistance or aggression. - The fennec is the size of a chihuahua, weighs no more than 3 lb, and is getting more and more popular as a pet. It is an extremely friendly creature that’s full of energy. - Despite being a popular domestic pet, the axolotl is on the verge of total extinction. Catching this amphibian in natural waters is prohibited, but it’s OK to breed it at home. - Sugar gliders are incredibly affectionate and strongly attached to their owners and the animals they live with. Flying squirrels are nonaggressive, and they respond well to voice intonation and can be trained in simple commands. - Genets get really attached to their homes. Despite its exotic looks, the genet is unpretentious. Its main needs are regular feedings and a clean tray. - Hedgehogs are good-natured and have an amazing ability to get used to home conditions quickly. Remember that hedgehogs are predators, and raw meat should be the core of their diet. - The electric blue crayfish need clean water, a large aquarium, and a place to hide in there. - The kinkajou is curious and loves following its owner wherever they go, hanging off their shoulders and sitting on their lap. They don’t really make any trouble and easily adapt to a new home. - Foxes have quite a specific character: they are devoted but independent and very curious, trustful, and playful. Finding a common language with this pet will take a long time, so you have to be patient. - Skunks are affectionate and very loyal, much like dogs. A tame skunk doesn’t use its fetid weapons at home. The main thing is to regularly comb out the animal and trim its claws. #exoticpet #animalplanet #exoticanimal Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/
