22" iPad Air iPad or Android tablet Screw Drill Mount for Walls Counters Desks | Arkon TAB803

01:34
Arkon's TAB803 tablet mount can be used with all large tablets 9 to 12 inches in screen size, including the Apple iPad Air and iPad 4, 3, and 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, Kindle Fire HD 8.9, Google Nexus 10, and Sony Xperia Tablet Z. This mount package includes Arkon's Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder and Heavy-Duty Aluminum 4-Hole Drill Base Mounting Pedestal with 22" Adjustable Arm. The tablet is held securely in place with the Slim-Grip spring-loaded holder, and can be inserted or removed from the mount with one hand. Included with the holder are 8 support legs (4 short and 4 longer versions). The top and bottom adjustable-leg design of the holder helps keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. For most devices, the best mount holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 long support legs on the bottom of the holder. The 4-hole drill base mount is made of strong aluminum, and is ideal for environments where a more permanent solution is desirable, such as in a workshop or in retail. Screws are included. This mount can also be screwed directly into the floor of a car or truck. (Warning: Drilling into the vehicle's floor may damage the vehicle. Use caution and consult a mobile install professional to avoid drilling into any sensitive vehicle components.) Bend the 22" adjustable arm and rotate the swivel ball adapter head for 360° rotation for exact positioning of the tablet.

12 Dangerous Android Apps You Need to Delete Immediately

09:33
Pay attention to the list of the most suspicious apps you may come across in Google Play. Delete them from your phone immediately to protect your personal data and extend the life of your phone. Their creators promise the apps will optimize your device, extend the life of your battery and protect your phone from viruses. Some of them are even supposed to be lie detectors and defragmentation devices. In fact, all they give you is ads, and what they do is get access to your data and kill your battery. Considering the huge number of apps created every single day, not even Google can keep track and check the safety of all the new programs. So the security of your device mostly depends on you! They can only analyze how much space certain programs take up, use your phone's resources and collect your personal data. -You will want to delete this app because it consumes tons of data since it’s full of ads and causes a massive drain of your battery. -Battery savers and fast chargers can’t really change the speed of your gadget charging, but can give you endless apps even on lock screen. -If you don't want these apps to get access to all your data, avoid them at all costs. You can access some of your phone's system information from the Settings and Applications Manager, but those options are very text heavy and remain relegated to their designated sections. By downloading Usemon in the Google Play Store, you will now have access to an array of system information right inside your Notification tray. Usemon displays graphs of CPU, RAM, network usage, and more. For more information and downloads, check out the full tutorial over on Samsung Galaxy S3 softModder using the link above. Android Programming Adding Resources and Setting Background

05:39
Android is an operating system based on the Linux kernel,[12] and designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. Initially developed by Android, Inc., which Google backed financially and later bought in 2005,[13] Android was unveiled in 2007 along with the founding of the Open Handset Alliance: a consortium of hardware, software, and telecommunication companies devoted to advancing open standards for mobile devices.[14] The first Android-powered phone was sold in October 2008.[15] The user interface of Android is based off direct manipulation, using touch inputs that loosely correspond to real-world actions, like swiping, tapping, pinching and reverse pinching to manipulate on-screen objects. Internal hardware such as accelerometers, gyroscopes and proximity sensors are used by some applications to respond to additional user actions, for example adjusting the screen from portrait to landscape depending on how the device is oriented. Android allows users to customize their homescreens with shortcuts to applications and widgets, which allow users to display live content, such as emails and weather information, directly on the homescreen. Applications can further send notifications to the user to inform them of relevant information, such as new emails and text messages. Android is open source and Google releases the code under the Apache License.[12] This open-source code and permissive licensing allows the software to be freely modified and distributed by device manufacturers, wireless carriers and enthusiast developers. However, most Android devices ship with additional proprietary software.[2] Additionally, Android has a large community of developers writing applications ("apps") that extend the functionality of devices, written primarily in a customized version of the Java programming language.[16] In October 2012, there were approximately 700,000 apps available for Android, and the estimated number of applications downloaded from Google Play, Android's primary app store, was 25 billion.[17][18] A developer survey conducted in April--May 2013 found that Android is the most popular platform for developers, used by 71% of the mobile developer population.[19] Android is the world's most widely used smartphone platform,[20] overtaking Symbian in the fourth quarter of 2010.[21] Android is popular with technology companies who require a ready-made, low-cost, customizable and lightweight operating system for high tech devices.[22] Despite being primarily designed for phones and tablets, it has been also used in televisions, games consoles, digital cameras and other electronics. Android's open nature has encouraged a large community of developers and enthusiasts to use the open-source code as a foundation for community-driven projects, which add new features for advanced users[23] or bring Android to devices which were officially released running other operating systems. Android's share of the global smartphone market, led by Samsung products, was 64% in March 2013.[24] The operating system's success has made it a target for patent litigation as part of the so-called "smartphone wars" between technology companies.[25][26] As of May 2013, 48 billion apps have been installed from the Google Play store,[27][28] and as of September 3, 2013, 1 billion Android devices have been activated.[29]

How to Empty Hidden TRASHCAN on Android to free up internal storage / memory

03:15
**PLEASE READ the Description Below B4 Watching Scroll down to the 4 Methods to help. Helps mostly LG phones. This video was about INTERNAL memory, not external, it was a temporary issue which lasted ONE FULL DAY, OH MY GOD!!!!!!! Comments helpful for gaining storage are welcome. Call 911 if you require medical attention because of your smartphone. Before posting a comment, make sure it is not one of the bonehead remarks already posted.... "delete your porn collection" (real original) "seems to be a LG issue (look at third line of video description)", "my phone is better", 16gigs is not enough" "Android OS stinks" "the 3 min vid is too long" , "all you did was delete thumbnails"(fav comment from idiots - ever see a 1 gig thumbnail???), "my phone is better" "why not buy a bigger SD card" (from idiots who thought this was an External storage issue), "buy an I-phone" (real original). METHODS ******************************************************** Method #1 in your internal memory navigate thru these FOLDERS: "ANDROID" "DATA" "com.android.gallery3d" "FILES" and find ".trashcan", and delete its contents If you can’t find the com.android.gallery3d or the .trashcan folder, they may be hidden, and in your file manager MENU or settings you may have to "unhide" hidden folders. If .trashcan does not exist, or does not have anything in it, go to Method # 2 *************************************************************** Method #2 Delete pics and vids via Gallery Menu. (not much of a method) While in your pic GALLERY, go to he top left menu (small three lines icon) and select to empty the trashcan.. (you were probably unaware of this 7 day picture and video retention feature. For on-demand results, you must delete your gallery pics and videos TWICE, once at the gallery, and a second time via your gallery menu trashcan. ************************************************************* Method #3 (which you've probably done already) Use cleaners like CC Cleaner, or SD Maid. I did not have any luck with SD Maid, but you can try it, there are many other cleaners out there, but none worked for me for this particular situation. ************************************************************* Method 3 1/2 crAPP removal (my favorite) Uninstall as many stupid apps that you do not routinely use.....for example, trip advisor, yelp, map my hike, , games, and other crap like the almost defunct Facebook etc. You can always reinstall these apps via Google-Play. To remove factory preset bloatware apps, you will most likely need to "root" your phone, which i used to do, but don't anymore since droids have significantly increased their internal storage. I recently uninstalled 12 apps and don't miss them at all. I can reinstall them if necessary. ************************************************************* Method #4 Search and Delete. (OLD SCHOOL) If you take alot of videos but cant find them....and you know they are taking up alot of storage, you can try searching for the video extensions: if you take alot of vids and don't know where they went, you can try searching for the extensions AVI FLV WMV MOV MP4 .. If you take alot of pictures but cant find them....and you know they are taking up alot of storage, you can try searching for the picture extensions: JPEG/JFIF. JPEG 2000. Exif. TIFF. GIF BMP. PNG. PPM, PGM, PBM, and PNM. *********************************************************** Method 4 1/2 Time to use a free cloud sucka!!!! ......IF you take tons of pics and videos, then its time to get them off your internal storage and onto your external SD card storage......... ......IF your external SD card storage is used up....its time to get your pics and vids off your droid all together and onto something else, either a laptop, desktop, ......IF you do not know what a laptop or Desktop is, or don't have one.....then its time to move your crap up to a free cloud such as Google Drive (15gig), or MEGA (15gigs (do not fall for the 50gig bait and switch)). (***do not create multiple google accounts at once....spread it out over a few days, otherwise they will zap your account***). Google Drive, and MEGA are free, unless you upgrade etc. I use multiple accounts of google Drive, multiple Mega accounts, all for free. Flickr used to be free, no so anymore, they suck, do not use them, they will stab you in the back, see article "Flickr imposes 1,000-photo limit, drops 1TB storage for free accounts" https://www.cnet.com/news/flickr-1000-photo-limit-for-free-accounts-in-subscription-push/ MOCK VIDEO: https://youtu.be/fwgzQt9yHzk?t=144

eBook Readers: Android on the Nook, Resources for eBook Devices, & Rooting the Nook Touch [1 of 2]

10:30
A handy video for eBook Readers: how Android works on the Barnes & Noble Nook Touch, what applications to use, resources for any eBook device, and how to root the Nook Touch. If you are looking for more in an eReader, I highly suggest that you consider the Nook Touch because of the ability to download periodicals and articles from the web to read offline at a later date via the Read It Later application. This will require rooting the device, but it's a quick process to unlock the true potential of what every eReader should be supporting right now. The following are the links from the video for your convenience. If you happen to own any eReader (like the Barnes & Noble Nook Touch Reader, Nook Color, Amazon Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony Reader, iPad, iPod, laptop, or any smartphone) this will be a great resource for finding deals on books and obtaining thousands of free titles that are available for download. eBook Readers: Android on the Nook, Resources for eBook Devices, & Rooting the Nook Touch [2 of 2]

10:23
Top 10 Photography Apps and Resources

08:17
I share my top 10 Photography Apps and Resources that can make your photography better, easier, more efficient and more fun. Lightroom Mobile - https://goo.gl/YznzDv OS Maps - https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/getoutside/osmaps/ 500px - https://500px.com/firstmanphotography Instagram - http://instagram.com/adamkarnacz Photopills - https://www.photopills.com/ Medium - https://medium.com/@AdamKarnacz Website - https://www.firstmanphotography.com/ I often get asked about what apps I am using and why. In the crowded world of photography apps it can quickly get overwhelming. So i've curated this list of my best apps 2017 and 2018 that I use most often that solve a variety of different problems I encounter on a day to day basis. Adobe Lightroom First up is Lightroom. I talked about the Adobe Lightroom ecosystem a couple of weeks ago but having the ability to do photo editing, or tweak your images on the go, is a very nice feature and often saves time. One of the best features of the phone app though is the built in camera that will shoot Raw DNG files. I use this a lot and it's impressive how much control you have of the image in post production. Photopills Next up is Photopills. I've mentioned this a few times before. It’s an absolute must for nearly all photographers, especially landscapers. You can plan your shoots, work out exposure times, arrange time lapses, measure hyperfocal distances and it's got a brilliant AR mode that shows where the sun will be setting. It is also perfect for planning milky way shots, subject distances and a lot more. I like it because it brings lots of things into one place and is like a Swiss army knife of photography. Canon Connect Next is the Canon camera connect app. A lot of the new Canon cameras now have built in WiFi which means they will connect to a phone, tablet or laptop giving you remote control of the camera. I've found myself using this more and more in the field. If the camera is low down I can stand and fire the camera from a more sensible position. If I need to change exposure, that can all be done from the app. It is also perfect for video. I used it to monitor myself with the iPad while creating this video and also to focus and stop and start the record. It can be used in situations like weddings. I might have one camera set up to record video whilst I'm taking pictures with another. Its a level of control and multi tasking that just did not exist before. Weather App 4th on the list is a weather app. If you ever shoot outside, you'll need one. I use the BBC weather app. It is not always the most accurate but it's easy and you can monitor multiple locations. I also like that it's not always accurate because as a landscape photographer, good images can be captured in every condition. If you only went out when you knew it was going to be nice you'd miss out on a lot. Ordnance Survey Map App Next is the OS Map app. This is a mapping app for the UK. When you're out shooting landscape photography it's vital for safety to know exactly where you are. I'm going to be talking about this more in future videos, but for a small annual fee you have access to a the OS maps and your GPS position shows exactly where you are. It has helped me out of a few jams this year! 500px Next is 500px. I recently, and finally, started uploading to the photo sharing site 500px. This is a good social platform for photographers where you can see good quality photography without the huge amount of rubbish you see on Instagram. There is also a range of new features for enthusiasts and professionals wanting to sell their work and overall it seems like a good community. Flickr is dead so please check out my 500px page at First Man Photography. Instagram Next up is Instagram. You know why. If you're not, you should. Hyperlapse Another app from Instagram is Hyperlapse. This is designed primarily to easily capture a Hyperlapse as you walk. It works by digitally stabilising the footage whilst you shoot, giving a smoother shot at the end. You can slow the Hyperlapse down to real time so it's a great way to capture stabilised footage straight onto your phone. It is free and definitely worth a try. Medium Medium is a blogging platform that puts the written word front and centre. It has great content from from the newest writers, to the best writers in the world. I have been writing and contributing to the Vantage publication for a couple years now. It is one of the biggest photography platforms on Medium and has some great articles to get stuck into. Traditional Websites Finally we have the humble website. There are some amazing photography resources out there that I consume and contribute to on a regular basis. Blog slights like PetaPixel and FStoppers, Canon Rumours is always fun, Skippy sky, the OS website, Google maps for planning and getting to places, and of course the First Man Photography website. Most of the above have android app and iphone apps.
